I think you are confusing "Not liking things similar to you" with "Not liking things which are not similar to you." As I have already demonstrated why that is extremely false.

Means that ingroup preference, bias, favouritism, etc, is proof the above statement is baloney.
The most similar thing to us is our family, and most people put family before everything, especially their kids, which share at least half of their DNA.
That is not not blatantly false because we also endure in-group favoritism.
The difference between the two is that in-group struggles are typically related to competition. You typically aren't competitive in the same fashion as those outside your group. Instead, the hatred is more rooted in "I do not like you because you are not like me"
There are an infinite amount of groups (e.g. those who don't like salad vs. those who do, etc.) and that means there is always competition.
Skin color is a more define group because of its visibility compared to other preferences.

racism isnt natural holy moly. implicit bias is cultivated by cultural schemas which are perpetuated by "lighthearted memes".
