It's come to my attention that this site is currently infested with Feeling types that are here for social engagement over the rational thinking that leads to successful mafia play. Change my mind.
You don't have to be wholly either to have a bias towards a type, but feel free to try again.
Case and point would be the fact that people think that making fun of F types for not being able to use LOGIC or REASON in game means I think T types are superior. I've literally haven't even addressed anything about T types in this thread.
Then it's a good thing people's opinions online don't matter.
the problem is that every argument you present falls apart as soon as anyone recognises that a person can be 51% T and 49% F and that no one is wholly thinking or feeling.
This is false too. You weren't here when a majority of the comp community were T types. You'll never get to feel what it's like having to deal with people that fundamentally hold logic and reason above everything else. Punishing people for being unable to think is really simple, just not something that you'll ever see on this site because F types hold respect among those that conform above anything else.

You think an F type is going to present FACTS or DATA? I always address contrary points. I'm not stupid enough to get into a reasoned debate with someone's opinions, hence all of the "F type" posts in this thread.
The only thing that's been presented is a poorly sourced article that was 1) Irrelevant to the point at hand and 2) poorly sourced as most F type papers are.
I'm pretty sure you admit that this site doesn't function with the original intention of the game it's based off of. If it was townsided point farms would be the go to choice of the player base. The fact that it is indicates that this site caters to people whose intentions on this site aren't based on the game this site was created for. Only in that respect do F types have an advantage, because they are a vast majority of the players that inhabit this site.
If we had red heart, sandbox, and survivor lobby people voting in the pole in the OP would be blatant.
This is false. This community is infested with addicts that play for the comradery over actually being skilled at the game. This site isn't for people that want to hone their logic and reason because the F types that infest this site are incapable of both.
I literally had to stop punishing myself by making detailed notes of my games (something I used to get off on) because the thoughts and actions of players on this site don't expand beyond their feelings at the moment.
This is how F types "reason" when something doesn't fit within their world view. Sorry for making you think before posting before for the first time in your life. Sorry that sincerity you just forced yourself to go through doesn't feel genuine.
My posts in this thread are 100% making fun of people for saying things with little to no reason or basis. Like your post, it's people basing things on their feelings instead of reality, logic, or something they can verify that's wrong with the game as a whole.
That's not how facts work.
Once you realize and accept that F types aren't typically capable of reasoning or rationalizing into a position that's contrary to how they feel at the moment; you stop wasting your life trying to reason with them. If you were capable of logic or reason, you'd be able to point out the micro-level mistakes you assuming I'm making instead of summarily misrepresenting my actions in this thread.
Priding yourself on identifying primarily as a "Thinker Type" automatically invalidates your being based on the fact that you religiously believe the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a perfect and always-accurate questionnaire.
As for your original argument about whether T or F types are better at Mafia, I would actually assert that F types have an advantage at least when it comes to being an above average player. If everyone did things like play the odds or follow some rigid set of rules for optimal play (something I would imagine extreme T types might advocate) then it would be hard to really stand out or outperform everyone else. Dealing with other players faults and exploiting and manipulating them is definitely valuable but those aren’t things I’d associate with a T type at all.
It just seems to me that you are using F type as a derogatory term and indicating that only “T type thinking” is the way to figure out the truth / superior to “feeling”. Blocking out dissenting opinions as “F type” and then not really acknowledging them after that is pretty lazy in my opinion.
