Do all pedophiles deserve death?

Children are seen as the epitome of innocence which is why we get so upset at the thought of harm ever coming to them.

Pedophiles are seen as potential dangers to children, which is why they are seen as one of the most disgusting and hated people on the planet.

But I believe there is a fine line between active predators, and people who realize this is a sick mental disorder and seek help for it.

I think it's too late for offending pedophiles, but I believe we should treat pedophilia in general as a mental disorder.

patient confidentiality can be broken when the person is suspected to be a danger to others or themselves, and a pedophile is most definitely a danger to others


so what options do they have...? outside of communities on teh Deep Web and maybe some progressive therapy in scandinavia or some place there's really not a lot they can do

i think the true depressing aspect of pedophilia are the amount of people abused as kids that then grow up to be attracted to children

maybe it's because their first sexual experience was with a grown, abusive adult, and from then on they develop a sexuality mediated by how the Other sees them, as a sexual object, the child as object of desire, themselves in the children they become attracted to, trapped inside discourse that projects their conception of themselves as child sexualised onto others
