i don't think i made an analogy at all actually. you did, or at least, you continued aura's.
but to answer you, generally when people commit suicide, it's because they don't see another option. (speaking of situations where it occurs bc of mental illness)
obviously they have other options, like therapy, or medication for their mental illness, but these aren't seen as legitimate options bc the problem is seen as insurmountable, or these methods have failed in the past.
so the options are suffer or die, and death ends the suffering.
so when the suffering is at that extreme level, suicide becomes the only way to cope with that suffering, bc to do anything else is to fail to deal with it. so at that point, there is NO other choice, it's one option forward. it's a gun to your head telling you to do it, or to die anyway.
some people seem to treat suicide as if it's just another thing, but ultimately it's the final option to deal with a longstanding struggle someone has.
gotta get them straight white dudes some representation!
ok this makes sense
just don't go on another crusade about how terrible "kys" is when you only note people who have been reported for it more than once, it's not good for your image!
my fave part was where he equated me saying "victims of suicide aren't weak" to glorification of suicide and then complained that we were misconstruing everything he said
