misconception- i get reported once a month for fake claiming and mods assume i fake claim every game, when i fake claim only when there is a strategic reason to

"mtlve does it all the time"-- yes and she did get vios for doing it without reason or strategy, but when she did it for strategic reasons she wasnt viod

if you are a moderator- you are supposed to read the game and be able to determine the difference between fake claims for strategic purpose and fake claims for trolling purpose

if someone fake claims every game regardless of their role then they are intentionally trolling. they know very well that they will be playing with new players each table and they wont know that they fake claim every game.

What this person in this game did was clearly trolling and had no strategic intent.

what is sad that even an experienced mod like bsm couldnt differentiate and just gave a juvenile response " you also fake claim"

this user came up with a weak reason after being reported to explain his fake claim.

i did not report for gt because this user was still trying to win. i specifically reported for trolling. but these mods immediately assumed i was reporting for gt when i mentioned in the report that i reported for trolling.

they kept saying "this isn't gt" - but i never reported for gt

Probably don't even know how to open the notepad program on the computer they're logged in. For sure they've never seen post it notes!

JM123 did moderators explain to you what's the purpose of a note when you started modding? by the way you use the term "note" it looks to me you think a note is some kind of a joke violation. a note should be given for a user when you actually think he is guilty of the actions he is reported for, but not entirely sure. the note exists as a way for moderators to keep track of one's wrong doings.
i am aware that mtlve keeps appealing notes and saying it is something different than i just described, but it is not. stop using this sentence "it should be a note" in an inappropriate manner. tbh i dont think current moderators even know what note means, both literally and figuratively.

i OBVIOUSLY didn't argue about it being gt. his other actions are also relevant even if you report for trolling.

if a player goes to a game and the only thing he does is fakeclaiming clearly with the intent of annoying everyone, that'll be vio worthy

in this case, he overall played ok and might'v had strategy behing the claim. everyone agrees it's a NV, if anything it would be a note. we are lenient in this case, because we belive it is deserved

So before I read the game I knew he was going to say hyper meant hypo if he ever had to retract being orc (they sound similar and that's the thought that immediately entered my head knowing the context of the game of him being blue).

That's exactly what happened after you shot orc and wanted to lynch him. Yes earlier he said hyper = legit but he left himself a way to back out of the claim if need be

He even says in one of the reports he's testing it as a strat which as nice as new meta is, this is will only lead to more people fake claiming roles just to live. Honestly if the strats goal is to ensure you live over a clear it's a bad strat. Say maf hit orc, now he's a liability for claiming orc and has to try harder to be trd.

Dude he literally hard claimed orc. Not just once. I marked him as orc. Did u even read. And post game he said he does it every game.

Fake claiming just for the sake of it is trolling because you are playing the game for fake claiming instead of fake claiming for playing the game. Write that down and use it as a code.

That's probably the only real issue

Haven't read the game though but that's a conclusion that can be reached; when users get away with doing anti town things like this and get townread/etc as maf/ town then they just start to adapt the strat because it plays in their favor

Sorry man but this is a case of "we're always right even when we fck up".

I can't read the game but I can see the review link you mentioned which shows all the roles and the game summary. If he hardclaimed orc as blue like you say he did that's gt. Could argue his defense of "I'm testing this" and him saying he does it every game is ogi/meta abuse. And if the argument is because you and mtlve do this often I want to see nv's on gt reports for known gters otherwise it's just hypocritical mod bs.
