welcome. i like to cook and eat so i will be documenting my food adventures. this will basically be a food blog where i will talk about foods i have made (incl. recipes) or yummy foods i have eaten. i'm gonna try to make this a daily thing but sometimes i recycle recipes so who knows...

just a disclaimer: i'm a pescatarian and at the moment i am on a low carb diet so i can lose weight, so if some of these recipes seem like extremely healthy that's why. i am a big fan of greasy, carb loaded foods but i'm tired of being fat and ugly. of course i'll probably have the occasional cheat day where maybe my boyfriend and i go somewhere fun so we eat something unhealthy or not in my diet but for now i'm gonna try to produce low carb recipes and stuffs.

hi ladies ! i keep forgetting to post my goodness but i made this like... two days ago?? it was very yummy



i present to you a quinoa bowl with chickpeas, roasted pepper sauce, and lemon pepper chicken. so u make ur quinoa (just boil it, 1 part quinoa to 2 parts water until the water is completely absorbed) and then while that's boiling roast some red peppers (this is typically done in an oven preheated to 450 on a thin baking sheet but i didn't feel like waiting for the oven to preheat so i just put it on a pan on high heat until each side was burnt) and then i threw the roaster pepper, 1 tbsp olive oil, cilantro (u should use parsley tbh but i didn't have any), dill, rosemary (USE A LITTLE), basil, chives, 1 clove of minced garlic, salt, and pepper into a food processor until it was a sauce ! after that i fried the chicken and seasoned it with lemon, garlic salt, and pepper. once ur done cooking everything put the quinoa in a bowl then top it with the sauce, some chickpeas, the fried chicken, feta cheese, and some plain yogurt.

hey ladies it's been a while but today i'm bringing u some ramen yummy yum yum yum (which of course totally breaks my diet but. semantics !)



so i was rly lazy and didn't rly feel like making too much food and i found some ramen packets in my cabinet so i was like... why not? i like spicy seafood ramen so that is what i used here & i'm basically just gonna be teaching you how to spice up your instant ramen ! so, since the flavor i was going for was spicy seafood, i opted to add some shrimp and imitation crab along with a boiled egg, seaweed, and sesame seeds. if you're making a beef flavored ramen i suggest adding, of course, beef, and same goes for chicken. i overcooked my egg a little bit.. i recommend undercooking it just slightly so the yolk is still a little runny while the whites are firm but i always have anxiety when boiling eggs so i tend to overcook them. no real instructions here cause you really just gotta follow the instructions and then boil your meat of choice + an egg and add some sea weed/sesame seeds.

I am Just trying to create a Noraml THread free of memes and i have you bozos running amuck. no game mode was a HUGE mistake.

anyway i forgot to take a picture but i made cauliflower greek lemon rice w/ lemon herb chicken ! very simple recipe. jus grab ur cauliflower rice and put some olive oil, vegetable stock, lemon, rosemary (A LITTLE, ROSEMARY IS VERY STRONG), salt & pepper and cook until the cauliflower is a lil soggy like rice. then cook the chicken in butter and season with lemon juice, garlic, dill, rosemary, salt, and pepper. then ur gucci. i was really lazy today and generally uninspired hence the very simple meal. was still yummy though!

i won't lie i really really really like to cook it's one of my passions and i really like sharing things with people and talking to people and i honestly expected this thread to be ignored but the fact that people are actually posting in it and enjoying what i'm doing and engaging me in stuff and making suggestions makes me super like. stoked. thank u

so here's how i made the cauliflower mash: boil some cauliflower for a bit until it's kind of soft/soggy. throw it into a food processor with a fat of choice (oil, butter, ghee, whatever u name it. i always go with butter bc i'm a butter loving f*ck) and a little bit of milk to make it creamy. don't overdo the milk like i did, i had to put the cauliflower mash in a strainer until it wasn't so soggy anymore. also add in some garlic salt, pepper, and a bit of normal salt. blend until it has a mashed/creamy consistency. transfer the mash out of the food processor and into a bowl then add some extra ingredients if u like. i added more butter (what did i say) some chives, some veggie bacon bits, and colby jack cheese. i threw it in the microwave after mixing for like 2 minutes (stopping after 1 minute to mix it) to melt the cheese into the mixture. then ur done! there's ur cauliflower mash! just keep adding salt/pepper to taste along with garlic salt/powder.

and for the beef bites, i just threw some garden beef bites onto a pan and spiced them with dill, basil, garlic, onion, and chives (i really, really like spices espec. herbs) and cooked them until they were nice and a little crunchy.

for the veggie gravy: this recipe is super easy. 1 cup water, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1.5 tbsp flour or a starch (just to add thickness), onions, garlic, 1 tbsp butter, salt & pepper and just throw it into a pot on med low heat until it's bubbling.

corn... just get frozen corn and defrost it and add some butter to it while it defrosts. ain't that hard.

and that's it :3c enjoy

meatless beef bites in veggie gravy w/ cauliflower mash and corn ! sooooooo good. so good. can i just say cauliflower mash > mashed potatoes by a LONG SHOT. the flavor of cauliflower as opposed to potatoes is a game changer. also, way healthier. make this substitution ladies, u won't regret it.
