i mean that's not the point, the point is that town did nothing to deserve that win besides lynch one mafia. meanwhile mafia did almost nothing to deserve that loss.
almost like the game of mafia involves luck lol
everything in life requires luck. not getting hit while driving your car requires good luck in not having bad drivers on the road who can and would hit you. doing well on a test requires good luck in that the material you studied will be on the exam. winning a marathon requires good luck in you not getting sick the day of the race.
the commonality between all of those is that the outcome isn't decided by the element of luck. luck has an influence, but the influence is marginal at best and the outcome is largely dependent on the person involved in those scenarios. you can't really say the same thing about sweet dreams because it's so dependent on variables such as who sw visits, who dreamer dreams, and who is loudmouth (all of which cannot be controlled or determined n1 through any means)
I can't really argue against the fact that a fair amount of the different circumstances of that setup are luck-based. I just mean to say that a really tiny portion of that is game-breaking luck.
Is it a good setup? Maybe not - but not really a broken one.
semantics my dude. i don't care if it's broken or not, it's still a bad setup. hollywood illusions isn't a "broken" setup but i still think it's bad and a glorified coinflip. noobtraitor isn't a broken setup but if you lynch correctly day one you might as well have already won the game.

big ups to dreamer getting the exact same dream twice in a row. dreamer is truly a bad role and you basically cannot argue against this as far as i'm concerned.
