Corrupt moderator blacksnakemoan has sent me and shounen a private message telling us not to play games with each other anymore, signing it with “your friendly mod team x”.
Besides the obvious passive aggressiveness dripping from that signature, the sanctions laid upon me and shounen are unjust and peak definition of this place being a toxic environment. It shows that even something like playing a round together with a specific person can result in suspension. It’s discriminatory and hurtful. Yes, we’ve played every round this comp together. No, we did NOT cheat. You can play a game with the same people and not cheat, you know. It’s called having friends. Not to forget, we were on opposite teams a lot of the time, and I’m not even in the top 28 anymore. Why are we being accused of something like this? We did nothing wrong.
Now's your chance to voice your opinion in the form of a poll. Is mod blacksnakemoan corrupt?
also i find the average "gay lifestyle" to be terrible, im at a position where most dudes i talk to just want to secks and i think i outgrew that phase too early and dont know what to do with that
Well I’m not gonna spoil it but it’s not about him coming out it’s in fact a lot more raw and difficult to watch and it will be really comforting for a lot of people in tough spots and I’m happy they were willing to make it what it is
yeah it can be rough, mormon friends i know have struggled with stuff like premarital sex which everyone does nowadays and reconciling that with their religion, i think they could do well to get some modernity like protestant communities are doing now

oh i see im late.., the conversation has shifted to religion
I love the church I really do but it’s not really ummmm conducive to a gay life style but the members have been nothing but uplifting and supportive of me and my choice and my mom only really struggles because of the doctrinally fundamental idea that homosexuality is wrong

are we talking about love simon? im taking my 13 y/o lesbian cousin to see it soon (and thats the mlm wlw solidarity we all deserve.)
i'll also give my review on it (if thats the movie we're talking about)
i agree coming out stories are overdone though, but if its different and handles it in a new light im sure i'll find it interesting. ive seen a lot of good praise
I’m religious but like I need time away I feel like because right now it feels like my family wants me to choose one or the other and I want to show them that both can exist mutually but I need time to get back there
at my last job one of the kids there was mormon, he was super hilarious and did a lot of sex jokes n shet, i think its to rebel agianst his parents, im not gonna be strict on my kids like that even though im religious

well this thread has been derailed onto something new every time i see it pop up down there with a recent post, i was just surprised (but not disappointed) to see the topic this time
it was not a derail. this thread is to talk about anything u want. we had a pretty woke conversation yesterday but it got derailed by people talking about epicmafia trying to take this thread srs lol
damn that sux if she acted weird about you coming out, my mom was chill about it, good to know that a movie is having effect like that on people though

i bought jeff a copy of the book love simon was based on for his bday

how did jeff just derail this derailment to talk about love simon
better worded, it’s written to show a large audience outside of the LGBTQ+ culture how the experience can be like.... idk how to explain it but my mom texted me after apologizing for how she acted when I came out???
idk it being made by a big studio dosnt really matter to me, and appealing to a larger audience is probably a bad thing? str8 society at large in the US outside of major cities in california, new york, some minor exceptions like portland are pretty homophobic. rust belt is pretty homophobic lol, a lot of people are afriad to come out there
i wanna see a gay movie that society at large ISNT ready to see
Those weren’t major production studios though. They were smaller indie studios or producers. This one is actually a big studio and appeals to a larger audience.
