yo i lowkey still get mad at cod when i do bad/getting destroyed for a while lol, but i play it anyway since its with my friends and overall its a fun experience
similarly if someone in a mafia game isn't trying at all and is being a douche, i get annoyed in that moment but as soon as the game ends its over and its not good to dwell on that sh*t--have a fresh outlook for the new game. people here are really, really, REALLY bad at this (including for when stuff happens in the forums), and they carry their attitude towards the person into a game with them and actually let it influence their actions in the game--people like this are poisonous to mafia games and take away from the fun
Indeed, it's just sad how many people here sacrifice enjoyment for winning. I've personally come full circle from this whole thing during my time here so I understand it, but moving away from the notion of "if i don't win i didn't have fun" every time is much healthier

Yeah, Giga I feel u but that’s just not human psychology . Like I haven’t cared for a trophy since, like ever. But the thing is u still wanna win.
It’s like anything in life, whether it’s sports or gaming. The need to win overcomes the enjoyment, and at some point u only get enjoyment out of winning .
That's the thing about this place, I don't understand. If you're having fun, great, have fun. If not, leave for a bit, maybe come back (or not). If you're not having fun why are you here; this is a game and games are supposed to be fun
what if we didn't care about the opinions of strangers on the internet and just had fun playing games without worry of winning a competition or whatever

condemning the guy for playing with friends is also a really hypocritical and indefensible position, why should he have to stop if no rule is being broken

lacey i've been trying to track this feud and piece together your argument, but all i can really surmise is that you think slow told you to stop playing games with him so you'd have a smaller chance of trophy-ing, despite there being clear proof alex gave him the heads up to tell you
