But for real, every round the first 2 days games don't fill as much in the afternoon/evening in EST because everybody is so eager to play their hearts that they either do it right at midnight or in the morning. By Day 3/4 this usually goes away and you can fill games easier in afternoon/evening EST, but then reappears by the last 2 days of the round since more people have realized they can't win trophies and stop playing gold hearts
But from 10pm-12am EST in general, it's been difficult to fill games for quite some time now, which is annoying for people who play late and/or need to burn hearts--they have nobody to play/burn their hearts with. It actually used to be really easy to do that during this time, but not anymore and I guess it's because people are too impatient to not play their hearts as soon as they get them
