This is the groups phase. You have to vote for the people you think are the most deserving of winning the title of Best Sandbox User 2017.
You /need/ to vote two people in each group. The best two will carry on to the bracket part of the tourney.
The groups have been randomly selected by Challonge, so there will be some "Death Groups" and some easier ones. In this second half in particular there are A LOT of harder groups so good luck!
This is the link to the tournament, which contains all the groups.
Since there are a lot of groups, for the convenience of both all of you and myself, I'll split this phase in two votings, with the first half of the groups first, and the second one later.
SirAmelio I don't blame you. You're one person who is kind enough to be doing this. I blame the people who are so desperate to win or for their friends to win that they would rig votes, which ruins the whole point of all this anyway. Thank you for doing this either way, sorry you have to hear all the hoo-rah.
yeah tbh that was my bad but i only realized once there were already several people that had voted and it wouldn't let me change it without resetting the entire thing
maybe i can do a recount for that round only, if people feel like its needed (but then it will most likely have A LOT less votes and might not be as accurate)
personally i didnt even know who lucky was before this started, and its not like they died against three randoms, both obito and jinga are fairly popular. i get now that lucky might be popular between some people but honestly calling them one of the most popular users is what's questionable here lol
as for the alts, there are maybe 2 or 3 that slipped, and i posted a list of the users days before this started that ANYONE could've read and pointed out "hey senorjose is mrmongrels' alt or dryn and kikkotex are the same person!" but almost no one did (i think just dooze pointed out X being one of roxy's alts) so you can't blame all of that on me either. im not aware of everyone's alts and thats exactly why i posted the list days before starting the tournament, something i didn't do in previous years
To be honest, I honestly think this whole thing should be redone. It's been proven people had alts on the list. You can keep it going but I think a lot of people are starting to question the actual legitimacy on these votes. I hope I didn't come off as disrespectful but it is what it is. The fact that lucky didn't pass r1 is very questionable, because he's one of the most popular users in sandbox.
