Dooze asked the community to suggest new backgrounds for the lobby so I made this thread to discuss ideas.

General guidelines for backgrounds:

  • Make sure the backgrounds are seamless
  • Avoid watermarks
  • Avoid crazy contrasting or bright colors
  • Avoid the color red

i especially like this last one since animal crossing is really popular right now :^)

not to be a dirty sjw or anything but not everyone celebrates christmas so a generally holiday themed bg would be ideal imo but also i dont think its super important so like. whatever
also i like the one sana posted with the fox on it. im not a furry though. the one with the lights is good too
(im going to scrounge around for more holiday bgs so that this doesnt sound like im being some kind of stupid outsider who has criticisms but doesnt actually contribute)

not great but they're alright for winter :O i also like the first penguin pattern, hope it is used at some point :D
