Edit: Think I'm gonna kill this finally. EM just has so many errors lately that can make posting a pain sometimes and this lobby looks deader than ever. It's been fun.

I've kept a list of brief thoughts on seasonal anime I watch on a different site for a few years now. That site is gone now but I still keep track so if ur interested u can check it out here I guess...
There's tons of shows not mention here that I watch each season as well in addition to shows I watch after they've already aired so just ask if you're curious about anything else or check out my MyAnimeList account it has a complete list. I typically watch around 25 anime a season so there's a good chance I've seen or at least know most shows you would be interested about.

That's really fascinating! I didn't expect to hear that at all from you but I'm glad you enjoyed the series in some form in the end. :)
It's been years since I've looked at anything Deadman Wonderland related so my memory is fuzzy but I'm curious what specifically made you get lost about the Manga?
I watched deadman wonderland, and I'm not exactly sure what the anime left out (I've finished the story in the manga too)... They may have made the right decision taking out whatever important facts there were, because from my personal experience, I was somewhat interested in the anime and was able to follow it. If they continued the series it might work out.
When I continued the story in the manga, I kind of got lost LMAO. Not because of missing details suddenly resurfacing, I think it might just be in the artwork and general story telling. I know the main plot points but following it was difficult, so it gave a meh ending to the whole thing.
Returning to our adventure we find ourselves on the beach of the second island. Walking into town we meet Olivia and Mallow captains of the Island Trials here. Setting out onto the next route we stumble across a path that leads to "Pikachu valley" there's so many pikachus here and even someone who lives in a pikachu decorated trailer it's crazy. There was a pikachu quiz and because I'm a loser I knew all the answers and won a Pikachu shirt and pants which I'll definitely change my character to wear so I can look cheesey. Eventually make it to some western looking town and Hau jumps me and demands a pokemon battle. Body him quickly and move on. Shortly after find team skull bullying some old lady so I put an end to their evil deeds and bully the old lady myself. I mean what. After that head to the ranch and Mallow gives us a Stoutland to ride and find treasure on that's cool I guess. Continuing on we bump into Hau who got his @ss kicked by some random kid named Gladion who forces me to battle him next. Little does this kid know that he's gonna get BOPPED. and that's exactly what happened. Then we head into our first island trial of the second island and are given a Lapras so we can navigate the waters by riding on it's back. Quickly finish the trial and are awarded a fishing rod and the Waterium-Z crystal. Afterwards run into the Ultra Recon Squad weirdos again and they have some pokemon called Poipoile that I've never seen before. Actually gave me a little trouble since idk anything about it but managed to barely take it out. Right after that we run into a little girl named Hapu getting harassed by Team Skull so we stop those grunts once again.
Start off this playthrough by exploring the new places I can go now that I can smash through boulders while riding Tauros and grinding/catching new pokemon. On that note I won't list every new pokemon I catch any more you can see the new additions in the pastebin. During my exploration I found the Flyinium-Z Crystal on top of a mountain randomly woah. :O
The game then forced me to take a picture of my trainer and a pokemon and because I was chilling in call with Ginga I thought it would be a good idea to pose with him. Supposedly he was "satisfied" so I think he finally approves of something I did idk he may just call me a bulli anyway... :c
After leaving the photography building I bumped into Hau who told me I should go to the beach and learn how to surf on Mantine. I head over there and bump into Professor Oak who has one hell of a tan now. He tells me about the Totem stickers that I've been collecting and then I walk away uninterested. I start the surfing thing and find out it's some really lame minigame and when it's over I find out that it was also the mode of transport to get from the first island to the second. I didn't know that and I really can't stand the thought of playing that boring minigame again so I'll save the rest of exploration on the first island for when I get fly. For now I'll end this play session.
hell ya nobody can stop me now!! except for every single npc since taurus immediately stops charging when I try to run the npcs over :( not gta enough.
Finally start the first Island Challenge and clear it with ease grabbing our first Z-Crystal the Normalium-Z. When leaving the trial we catch an Alolan Rattata and Alolan Diglett.
Moving on we bump into Lillie again who has lost Nebbie so we go rescue him again along the way catching Mankey, Crabrawler, Vullaby, Oricorio, Flabebe, Delibird, and FannyChmelar the Smoochum. We also fought the Ultra Recon Squad for the first time they're real weirdos if you ask me. After that we head through another route or two grinding on the way towards the grand trial of the first island. Manage to complete it quite easily due to type advantage and claim our second Z-Crystal the Fightium Z! We also befriend a local Taurus which we can now ride around on and smash boulders with! Gonna take a break here before heading to the second island.
