all of my presents were college/dorm/travel related and it served as a cruel reminder i have to be a responsible human being receiving more sensible gifts and not an etch a sketch

i wrote my mom a poem as a gift im proud of myself for doing it it took three hours and i put a lot of effort in it! and im really excited to give it her tomorrow :) its a real tear-jerker

im also really excited for my own presents tomorrow lol

ive been bumping Now That I'm Older a lot recently because it was used in one of the Ol Sugar Boys episodes

sufjan stevens in city of roses saying "its a little known fact that i cant cope im the champion of repression" addressing his sexuality and that he makes his songs ambiguous (see: "is this gay or just about god") on purpose because of his internalised homophobia growing up religious really makes me
