The Resistance Game 4

It seems this game has gained a lot of popularity in this lobby, and I want to see what it's like as the host.

All 3 of the games played thus far have ended in evil being victorious. So as per the idea of HighSpace, I will incorporate an extra servant to the game making it 7 good, 4 evil.

This will decrease the chances of placing evil members on missions and increase the Merlin pool for Assassin to shoot in.

Cole is the other big question mark that I aforementioned in mai read for qrs. I have no idea how to feel about them especially since they barely talked.

Keeping in mind that Cole did admit they will be lurking due to being new, I tried to continue looking at them with a neutral mindset.

But when I re-read, I noticed thy comment on them that I may or may not have overthought over. (Aka. leading me to mai conspiracy theory in first statement.)

HOWEVER, like I said, that read is more influenced by thy actions than Cole's. So I'm still not sure how I feel about them.

About Jeff, isn't this a indication of a possible tr?

I said despite Jeff being an unhelpful wise guy, he could be town. Him being unhelpful is more in just how he plays, not his alignment, imo.

There are many others I would love to see on missions over Jeff. Colester, Tillie, Ripple are the names that come to mind.

Don't mistake the fact that I could see Jeff actually being town mean that I think he should be on missions

One of the factors influencing mai sr on thou is mai idea of Ari and Pod being a team. Although I don't have them as confirmed townies, I was actually entertaining the idea that them two roleswapped as Perc and Mer making thou the old child out, aka. scum.

If cole and I are scum, then stashio is default town.

I also never TR'ed Jeff, I'm not sure where you got that from.

Right after the second mission failed, I tried to give a platform for pod to remove qrs and Jeff from the mission. Because he had accepted the mission and it failed, I assumed he accidentally accepted mordred

Also, I should've been clearer about my reads, so sorry about that.

The two statements I commented on that thou made were looking at two different scenarios.

The first statement looked at a very specific where thou are scum buddies with Cole (and that makes Stash auto clear due to Mission 3).

The second statement was looking at a general scenario where either Stash or Cole (or neither aka. me being completely wrong) could be thy partner.

Also, I haven't mentioned mai read on Cole yet but because they're related to what I'm talking about, I'll just mention it here (though that messes the order I was outing mai reads in x.x)

Alright Rollie, make whatever team you want. Just try to make sure it's accepted, I'm pretty sure I have all 4 scum nailed already. So I guess we should remove cole and replace him with spade/Jeff otherwise it'll be rejected again

yeah imo highspace is kinda confirmed town so i don't rly agree w ur read there @spadez. if you read through everyones percival claims, highspaces one is the one that makes the most sense and it was also like the best time for him to claim as town, bcos scum was p much on their way to autowin if he didn't claim? idk

What seems more likely to you?

1. PoD is percival, and is content with giving town zero instructions. Not even something as basic as telling us what team to form when we're already down 1-2

2. PoD is Morgana, and knew percival wouldn't cc because he appears as Merlin, suggesting a role swap. So he's content just staying on the missions to fail them.

I shouldn't have trusted him so much, but I did, and now we're here

Also on your read on arisuu, her gameplay was very... reactive? She only started giving reads when I called her out. She only decided to cc Perceval once I cast suspicion on pod. Why didn't arisuu cc pod at the start? If pod is Merlin, then he wouldn't have made a mission with two fails. If he's regular town, why would he claim percival and also why wouldn't arisuu cc? Finally, if he's percival... I actually have no logical fallacy for that. That would mean arisuu and I are both scum? Which would make starshio town by default

Mai next person is Tillie :D I tr Tillie. Also, I'm losing energy cuz I've been here typing up reads since 3 hours (that, my friends, is dedication that you don't really need lol) so mai comments are probably going smoller and sloppier. So sorry about that in advance.

Not blindly sheeping the crowd just because of Pod shows that Tillie is clearly showing independence (unlike scum who would rather blend in the crowd tho that does depends on thy playing style... I guess)]

"Scum wouldn't make their fellow partners be obvious so usually, you just throw them under the bus. But just because that's more popular, I'll do the opposite" kinda vibe is what I got.

And the benefit of doing something like that would mean if High got generally tr'ed, there's a high chance people would listen to who they deem as a fellow tr aka. Cole.

Meaning, in the last two missions where 2 scums are needed for evil to win, High and Cole would get auto passes if they successfully seem townie. (This is all a hypothesis relying on if they're both scum).

Now that I'm re-reading what I'm saying, I might be pushing it too hard lol. (While I'm typing this, I'm continuously questioning whether or not I even make sense.)

I want to do this because I want to clear myself. And also see what Jeff is gonna do about it.


At that point, I thought High tr'ed Jeff cuz what of High said around that time. And seeing how High didn't care about the 4th member, I assumed they thought the scum was between Pod and qrs.

I noticed that qrs went from a tr to a sr for High. But what I'm confused about, is why would High propose a mission with qrs (their sr) and Pod when they were gonna cc Pod anyway?

Wouldn't it have been better to cc early and risk less fails in case they came from (in High's pov) Pod cuz they're High's cc?

Why would thou encourage another fail which includes thy cc...?.

Please do clarify me High if what I said seems wrong but this is all kinda scummy in my pov.

But currently, I wouldn't recommend High to be placed on the team.

Dun dun dun. Next person mai report is on is... HIGHSPACE! They slightly lean towards an sr for me.

I actually tr'ed High originally, when I was reading through the early posts.

Just be careful with how you talk AND ESPECIALLY YOUR ACTIONS. I wouldn't underestimate's scum ability to retrace your posts and figure out who you've been following.

Also who says we can't have reads? For instance, I have pod as town, qrstuv as town and tillie as scum.


This advice/warning is really townie to me.

Cole, the one who high-key lurked and sparsely contributed being High's strongest tr was suspicious to me. Now, I do realise that thy reads on peeps don't necessarily indicate thy alignment. But the fact that of all people, it was Cole is what bugs me.

Now, as much as bussing is a popular technique to seem like townie as scum, I feel like people are neglecting to recognise the fact that the opposite could be done in a form of wifom.

Ze next read is on Pod. This is an extreme read where Pod is a really big tr/sr. I'm still not sure about which one they lean more towards.

Pod made a huge move by claiming Perc right off the bat. Considering the fact that Pod mentioned the townies' failure prev game as the reason for their early claim, it seems townie to me.

However, on the other hand side, Pod could be manipulating everyone and making us think that scum wouldn't claim early because if they did. they'd have the real perc cc. But if we had perc cc'es so early on, it'd result in awkward reads.

One thing bugs me is how easily almost everyone handed control over to Pod after they claimed. I'm not sure what the implications of that are. So idk if that shines Pod in a good or bad light.

Also, I do think that Ari and Pod are on the same side even though they're cc'es. This is a more of an instinctual point than a logical one tho.

From the perc cc'es, Pod has participated the least which could be taken in an extremely good (trying to not out the merlin) or an extremely bad light (trying to fish for merlin).

I'm still not sure which way Pod leans for me however, I did state earlier that Ari is a tr/mass confusion read for me which might influence the development of mai read on Pod.

Aka. Pod is another person I'm not sure if I would recommend to be placed on the team.

i feel like i've been almost too forthcoming with commenting my reads & thought processes where it just comes off as trying too hard and confuses ppl, which i can understand. i'm not a regular mafia player so i second-guess myself a lot on how to play the game which i suppose comes off scummy at times rip

Mai next read is on the really sweet qrstuv. Their alignment is a massive question mark to me alongside one other player.

It's not like I don't have enough reads on them in fact, they're nowhere near lurking. However, the reads that I do have on them don't really indicate an alignment?

I have had HS as town thus far but this obviously makes me second guess myself. I feel like the contributions HS has given have been miles more helpful and non-scummy than what Jeff has contributed

Jeff sr'd HS before this and now the mission failed, interesting. And bc of that he rejected the mission... but could it have been a ploy to pin HS as scummy?

Like what if he rejected the mission bc he expected it to pass anyway, and since he rejected it & had HS pegged as scum anyway, it could pin doubt on his own scumminess/paint him as town? Idk if that even makes sense how I explained it, just an idea anyway


Some stuff that qrs has said seem really townie but then, they said a few things which seemed a lil scummy. And at times, all though the points they stated made sense, it never really gave me a sense of alignment.

I'm just confused about how to feel, so I guess they lean towards a neutral read?
