Epic Nations is a game where you control a nation and interact with nations controlled by other players.You can perform virtually any viable action by just stating it publicly here in this topic or PMing it privately to me.

Each nation can perform up to 3 actions per 24 hours, and those actions can be just about anything (attacking others, sharing resources, constructing buildings, etc). At the end of each 24 hour period I will post a summary of what occurred and reveal the results of relevant actions.

Nations can communicate with each other both in this thread and over PM, although if you do communicate over PM you must include me in all messages you send.

Overall wealth is the only thing I officially keep track of. However, individual resources are still important and will be considered when you perform certain actions.

Keep in mind you can keep your actions private if you wish by PMing me.

There are barbarian encampments scattered throughout the lands, containing primitive people with no internal government who occasionally attack nearby nations. Encampments are located in every civilization's land and can only be removed through several attacks with an army.

* The Commonwealth of Merlot also built dirt forts along its coasts for defense.
* The Republic of Yachi, the Commonwealth of Merlot, and Cogemelandia researched basic medicine.
* The Republic of Yachi also researched chemistry and made basic parachutes for its troops.
* Nigeria researched mathematics and fire utilities in the hopes of eventually making chemical weapons and ironclad ships.
* Cogemelandia built a theatre.
* Cogemelandia also researched physics.
* Dougland and the UPC were idle throughout the day.

Okay, but you'll be starting with mathematics. Intermediate medicine requires basic medicine and biology, and biology requires chemistry, which requires physics, which requires mathematics.

For each research area on the tree you need to have researched all of its inputs in order to research it. I think you are getting confused and thinking that researching a single one of its inputs grants you access.

My people do not drink from the rivers which were contaminated by Dougland. It is impossible for my people to have caught this disease unless Dougland's army made it all the way to Shwartztown. I don't expect my people to be drinking from the ocean anyways.

If indeed Dougland's army made it to Shwartztown, we will begin cure research.

* The deadly disease from Dougland has been spotted in the Kingdom of Shwartz, in AUTISM, and in the Bogdanian Federation.

Player Events

* Dougland launched a full on attack at at the capital of the Kingdom of Shwartz. However, Dougland's pointy-stick-weilding army had been severely weakened by disease and was completely decimated by Shwartz's army weilding wood shields, swords, and bows and arrows. Shwartz's army suffered minimal casualties.
* Dougland also contaminated Shwartz's water supply by tossing diseased carcasses into the rivers.
* AUTISM researched horse training and can now build carriages.
* AUTISM, the Commonwealth of Merlot, and Nigeria expanded their farms.
* The Commonwealth of Merlot constructed wooden ships and another trading post, and now receives even more extra resources on every trade.
* Nigeria researched sailing and trained its army.
* The Republic of Yachi trained its army and researched wood crafting and physics.
* Cogemelandia built a library, granting it a permanent boost to espionage and random research knowledge, horse training.
* Comgemelandia also researched wood crafting in an effort to develop more advanced technology.
