We aren't responsible to grow the community, but to maintain it. If you're interested in paying for Advertising to grow the community, I'm sure Lucid is all ears for that. We are unpaid individuals who care enough to dedicate some time to make sure the site doesn't go to a state of pathomania.

No, it actually does not mean that in the slightest.

and im talking about violations because its the only (or one of the few) thing mods can actually do something about to make the site better. for example, copied mechanics should not have so many strikes: with a warning as 1st and a lobby ban as 2nd is enough. and the same happens with repeated suicides: lowering the % required to 10% (which is already high enough) and deleting the warning strike, simply making it a 24-hour grace period for ppl to lower their sui rate and if they fail to do so the ban is applied.

i also dont understand why violations and bans have different expiration dates. id lower the time violations expire and make bans last until the vio expires.

but a lot of things are bad because of lucid - moderators can make threads and announcements for new players to see, but when i joined the site i was so lost because i hadnt bothered to check the forums for a thread to see how everything worked. there should be an automatic pm sent to every new account w important threads. then also, a mobile app. the design could be like the wikipedia and the whatsapp page combined, its not so hard... announcements that cant be seen because you have to scroll to hell to look for them and useless roles like alien, which are okay for sandbox, but should be kept on the 'created roles' tab instead of having 167 official roles sitting there. just some things

why do you think we should be moderating the center of the internet

if they wanted to there would be a new violation system with less rules on a list and less leniency, whilst not giving occasional rule breakers harsh punishments.

and dont complain about the mods when lucid has completely forgoten about this site. people like cub could make this site better.
