Moderator's role

Please, can someone explain me what is the Moderator's Role?

Because i was just told by a moderator that is not their role to care about anything outside the site. Their role is to do nothing except to moderate the site. (And honestly most don't even do that.)

So, really, what is your role in all of this?

I did. And i stand behind my choice. Pm's could have easilly been breached by now. If someone can send pm's with banned accounts, then they probbably can read pm's too.

I got angry. When i am angry i post big posts complaining in the public forums.

This is what i was saying when explaining how you guys didnt try to stop things getting out of proportions.

This would all be normal and sane conversation if expose just agreed with me and didnt try to talk about things how mods should do absolutely nothing about outside the site.

If the issue is something off site that they don't have jurisdiction over then I don't know what you expect. Do you think they have authority over anything other than the website they log into and have Moderator keys for?
