So I was wondering why arent masked games the norm for competitive play here? That would solve the whole meta clearing bs that goes on as well as people staring at one's stats just to see if they agree with their decision or not. It is quite annoying being in a middle of a game, im mafia, almost got the win then suddenly somebody starts getting meta cleared and town wins. Or one person that's obviously mafia will still win just simply because their stats are good and people sheep them. Logic says they're obvious mafia but their stats says win. And they gonna keep their stats good because of how a lot of people stare at them too much. I myself dont base judgement off stats but it seems it's different for a lot others.
Not true. They have unban policy. They can unban you for pretty much anything and you are on 1 violation leash.
if i recall correctly this was done for the "spring unban" program where users could ask to be unbanned and their requests would be granted for all but the severest of offenses.
i don't think it's an ongoing policy, rather just a one time thing.
False positives don't mean much when they'll get unbanned in under a week. Only people who aren't popular or active stay banned for cheating.
from what i've seen, only cases that are properly appealed and reviewed have resulted in "unbans in under a week." every other case of cheating has had people at least serve the majority of their bans.
but that wasn't the point - a false positive case is when you crucify someone that has actually not cheated. it's the worst result of the whole labeling thing and what we should strive to avoid as much as possible.
i think what you meant to refer to in that post was the true positive cases, to which i responded

xxerox shut your dumb a** up
Lono, you shut up. Take a side.
Stop saying : "I supported the idea but it doesn't matter really"
Either pick a side and fight for it or shut up and don't interfere.
You can't be on both sides.
You can't support the idea and also not support it when things do not go your way.
You haven't played in 4 hours lol your opinion is irrelevant
You're deflecting now. My reasoning is pretty sound considering most of the people who commented in this thread are cheaters and meta abusers, or former cheaters and meta abusers. The only person upset here is you, Zayn. Only you have the power to stop your own cheating.
are you the same person who owned that account this time last year? i don't remember you being so openly hostile
and the reason i said that it's not good to throw that label around so loosely is because the whole concept of raising a forum lynch mob against people who haven't been proven to cheat or meta abuse is a risky one - it really sucks in the false positive cases and it doesn't do much to deter cheating in the true positive cases.

I fought for this and it was either straight up no it's not going to happen or let the "community decide" with a poll. The poll allowed us to have a tiny chance. It didn't happen.
Poll Doesn't matter you idiot. The people do. When will you learn?
