And if you take into consideration that this number also includes orphans, those living with grandparents (both parents not in picture / unable to care) etc, the amount of black children who only live with their mothers is 48.5%. This number has gone down for the first time in over 50 years, which is great, but obviously still not enough.

Here's a really interesting website, and place that you can donate if you're interested in helping educate men on why they shouldn't ditch their families to hopefully make this statistic go down even more! I went to a play the other day that had that theme. It was surreal. My coworker was in it.
