a Chrome extension that brings together many of the various scripts I have made to improve user experience and productivity on Epicmafia, in addition to adding extension-exclusive features like desktop notifications for private messages. The scripts included are
ActionSearch - Allows for quickly searching the moderator actions
AutoRefresh - Refreshes the game list regularly while you're in the lobby
Clippy - An intelligent assistant that understands natural English. Press Alt+C to show or hide him. Ask him for help to see what he can do.
CompMatch - See percentages of which players have played together in a competition round
CustEM - A script generously provided by Floor that adds more display options to the lobby
Don't Autoplay Videos - Prevents profile videos from autoplaying
emConsole - Allows you to perform many common EM actions from a text console for maximum efficiency. Press Ctrl + ~ to show the console and type help to see a list of commands. Press ~ while the console is open to refocus your cursor on the console after clicking away.
emjack - A well-known script made by Foxie that adds many useful features, commands, and shortcuts to games of mafia. EES functions similarly to Tampermonkey in that it regularly grabs the latest version of Foxie's emjack from greasyfork.
emNote - Adds a tab to the top left of your screen that allows you to write and autosave notes
ForumTracker - Gives the option to track forum topics and receive desktop notifications when there are new posts. Click the Track at the top of a topic you want to track.
ScumHelp - Mark in-game messages green or red with Alt+G+Click or Alt+R+Click, respectively. Alt+Click clears the marking.
Having all of these scripts compiled together in one extension where users can toggle the individual features on and off should increase availability to the playerbase and make future development easier.
If you have any suggestions or bug complaints, feel free to post them here or send them via PM.
Important: The Pacer Test spam is now blocked from showing in PM notifications
To be honest, Clippy has been pretty useless since I added him. He just wasn't able to do much, and his coolest feature has been broken since the last update. So this time I decided to give him some love.
Clippy has now been completely overhauled and now utilizes Google's api.ai natural language processing service. This means he understands conversational English like 'What is my role?' or 'Join the first ranked game'. Ask him for help to see more of what he can do.
To make conversing with Clippy even more natural, I have integrated him Chrome's speech-to-text capabilities so you can literally talk to him. This is especially effective because of his ability to guess your intent even with spelling or grammatical mistakes.
For the heck of it I have also included speech-to-text in-game, so if you're a slow typer or want to communicate quickly with just one hand you can click the microphone icon or press Alt+S to activate it.
Another addition in this update is quick unicode emoji access. For both game and lobby chat you can click the emoji icon to view a list of emojis and then click your desired emoji to add it in to your speech. This is a lot easier than going to the emojipedia and searching for the emoji you want to copy/paste.
Lastly, I added an improved ScumHelp, which allows you to mark in-game messages green or red with Alt+G+Click or Alt+R+Click, respectively. Alt+Click clears the marking. The key used to be Shift instead of Alt but Alt plays more nicely with emjack.
I've thought about it. Maybe this summer I'll branch off and start developing a separate extension with some useful commands for several common websites
Version 1.4.0 Release * Game settings are automatically saved * EM Console Additions ____* View command history with arrow keys ____* Run multiple commands in succession by separating them with a semicolon. ____* New 'wait' command, mainly for use in command combos ____* New macro functionality ________* Create and edit macros (command combos) ________* Call macros with 'macro' command ____* Enter scroll distance when using 'up' or 'down' command
This update marks several significant additions to EM Console. With the functionality of command combs/macros, you can now automate hundreds of different tasks on EM however you wish and call those automations using a single, short command.
A simple example of a macro: go user; poke
I saved this under the name 'poke', so now whenever I enter the command 'macro run poke' (or 'm r poke') my browser will visit my user page and return all pokes. This is just a simplistic example of a combination of only two commands, but of course much more complicated macros can be created.
Version 1.3.5 Released * Fixed a bug with emConsole that would make it try to execute a command when you pressed enter anywhere on the site * Added 'join' command for emConsole * Added array of new 'pm' commands to make navigating your pms a breeze * Fixed a bug in Lucid's code that causes the background to not display properly when switching lobbies
That's a good idea; I might add that in the future.

thank you soooo much for making this!
is there any way you could add a feature to change the EM background?
* Added the link for the comment syntax thread to Clippy * Added flair support for emConsole command * Added -t flair: Opens the result of the command in a new tab (where applicable) * Added f go and f topic commands for navigating to subforums and topics, respectively
With this update I feel emConsole is now quite solid at mouse-less navigation around the site. There is of course still a lot more to add, but where it is now you can do most of your daily actions on EM without ever touching a mouse.
* Added a 'poke all' button to your user page * Added alerts for emConsole (so you get feedback when you do things like send pms) * Added 'friend' command for emConsole * Various other improvements
Many users don't know the tags to embed videos/images/links, so it would be useful if clippy told you. I have all of the tags usable on this site here: https://epicmafia.com/topic/81287
Makes it much easier and will reduce the number of "how do i post a video" comments on the wall
