Whether you believe them or not, conspiracy theories are certainly intriguing and can bring up pretty interesting conversation since many people hold different beliefs on each theory. For that reason, I'm starting this thread to host discussion on conspiracy theories as a whole. Bring up anything relevant to conspiracy theories here, share your opinions and respect the opinions of others!
let us all come together and celebrate this MeetMarriage
ANYWAY to keep this on topic: I'm gonna be honest, this poll is kind of making my eye twitch a little. Could someone explain to me what a FEMA camp is?
Error demodded me because I got in an argument with em user zahhaks

4. Energy companies fake basically everything about their business. The giant smoke stacks aren't connected to anything, simply spew out smoke for dramatic effect. Wind turbines are for show. Nuclear energy simply does not exist. He claims all energy companies use the same technology Tesla would have if he had gotten his way and made energy free for all, except they are charging us for it.
5. Where you are told you live/what the continents look like is simply a lie. "I've done the math, none of it adds up"
6. The only subject you can trust is math. Every person, textbook, etc. is simply trying to teach you their opinions and math is the only thing that can be proven to be real- other than God.
That's all that is coming to mind right now, but he has plenty and invites us to ask him for his opinion on any scientific topic- if you guys have any questions you'd like me to ask him let me know.

I think this is a good place to tell y'all about my calc professor. He has many conspiracy theories that he believes wholeheartedly ( we are all trying to get him to make a blog or something, I will share with you guys if he ever does)
1. Moon landing never happened. This isn't too uncommon of a theory but I think his explanation on why it never happened is the most interesting. According to him, the moon is a star- ball of gas that emits it's own light- and saying you landed on it is equivalent to claiming you have landed on the sun. He backs up this theory with the claim if you look at the moon, it is translucent and you can see stars through it.
2. The Earth is not a sphere / oblate spheroid. He says he doesn't claim the earth is flat but simply that he, or anyone, does not know the real shape. He backs up this claim with pointing out that people standing at opposite ends of the earth can see the moon at the same time (even though this is 100% possible with a sphere.)
3. Dinosaurs never existed He never gave much of a reason for this one. He simply asked us to raise our hands if we believed in dinosaurs, we all did, he laughed, and then taught us about partial derivatives.
I'm unconvinced that Donald Trump isn't a plant for the Clinton campaign. The Trump family's prior relationship with the Clinton family, Trump's politics rapidly shifting away from his previous center-left independent beliefs he used to hold, and the fact that Bill Clinton convinced Donald Trump to run for president all line up too well.
He was a businessman in liberal New York, he had to get along with everybody. Simple as that.
i think trump said something about skipping the third debate too, which is questionable

Trump's getting pretty old. Character assassination won't matter when he retires and lets his children take over the company, he has the money he needs to sail into his golden years.
Let's be honest, besides Ted Cruz, I'm confident any of the other Republican front runners (Rubio, Kasich, Bush, Christie) beat HRC in a primary

dude im glad im not the only one wondering about this
i feel like he definitely at least got into the race as a publicity stunt and then it snowballed, now hes doing and saying increasingly ridiculous things (though ofc some are from really old recordings) to ensure he doesnt get the vote
it wouldn't surprise me @golb but i think if it's true he's an incredible actor
He's certainly an excellent performer, I've gone back through old recordings when he's been on the WWE or doing commercials and stuff, he's always had that HIGH ENERGY persona around.
