Russia is building a Russian-Islamic Empire and part of that is constraining the U.S. and China.
Contrary to Trumps claims, it appears he did have contact with the Russian government:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations_of_Geopolitics"Russia should use its special forces within the borders of the United States to fuel instability and separatism. For instance, provoke "Afro-American racists". Russia should "introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements – extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics."
It also talks about the annexing of Ukraine ( already happened with Crimea) and an alliance with Iran.
Russia is already notorious for meddling in foreign governments, so this isn't a conspiracy in that sense. But I think we are missing out on a bigger game-plan, and the election of Trump and and prospective isolationist US, should give us some indication that power shifts may be coming.
