I thought today we could discuss how we eat our french fries.

How do you like your french fries? Normal, curly, waffled, cheesy? Any dishes they go with especially? Thoughts on poutine?

Are regular potato fries better than sweet potato fries? We all know the answer is no, but debate anyway.

Any local or chain place that makes the best french fries? Do you make the best french fries?

Do you dip them in anything?

I enjoyed smiley fries as a kid, but they're so super bland now. :c
I'd consider them fries in name only now, more like cased mashed potato.

Ketchup and Mayo are good with them. Sweet potato fries are inferior.

I love 'em nice and seasoned; salty and/or spicy. I don't really like dipping them in anything, but I won't complain if they are. Poutine is also very very nice. :33

From my point of view, the best french fries are when they're crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. I like them spicy and dip them in malt vinegar. If they're thin I don't mind, but I think they have to be a medium-ish size to really allow for the inside of the fry to be fully explored.
