Welcome to Forum Mafia 19: Forbidden Actions!

Game is over. Ended on Day 5

Mafia wins! This game was ranked.

The mastermind's behind this game are Gerry, Mori and myself.

The game will be played like any other Forum Mafia game, with one twist! Every player will be given an action pregame. If the action they are given is performed, they will be Killed from the game, with their forbidden action being shown afterward. More information will be given under Rules.

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days. 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II. The Set Up:

  • There is no "possible roles list". I promise not to get too crazy.

  • Mafia will have Day chat. And will know each other's Forbidden Actions

  • You will get an Alignment PM. Town or Mafia and your alignment will not change.

YOU CANNOT SHARE THIS FORBIDDEN ACTION WITH ANYONE

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Each night, one of you or your partners may perform the factional kill. You may kill and perform your role action during the same night.

You win if at least one member of your group is alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same)

III. The Rules:

As explained earlier, there will be forbidden actions. YOU CANNOT SHARE YOUR FORBIDDEN ACTION. If found to, you will be mod killed. If you commit the forbidden action, you will be killed from the game. You may speculate forbidden actions of others within the game. If asked whether your forbidden action is something, you cannot confirm or deny. You can also not soft or hint as to what your forbidden action is.

We also will be strict about ISP and replacements. If you think for any reason you MAY have to be replaced, do not sign up. We also reserve the right to deny anyone from joining, if we believe you will troll, isp, sub.

IV. Votes:

  • Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

  • I will not take any other type of vote. If I can't tell who you're voting, I won't take it.

MOD NOTE Mori will be giving out a token prize to a player from each alignment who the hosts determined played best.

not that either i get complaining that the argument lasted too long and I feel that way too i just lack self-control. I'm saying people are acting like the whole thing was pointless from the get-go, which is blatantly untrue.

you can go read soda's posts about ideal yourself to see the reasoning. also impoetic are you really saying you staged that whole argument to test himiko because that just feels made up

I don't get why people are implying the argument accomplished nothing because it did, at least fmpov. Did it go on way too long? Yes. Was it frustrating? Yes, especially for the participants. Did it further discussion and reads? Unless everyone else is townreading himiko for a different reason, yes.

I wasn't defending retti, I was saying that your read sucked, because your initial explanation was "he misread and I think mafia jumps to foses quickly" when he HAD NO FOSES, then you switched it to something about filler, which was also weak.

OK, fine, I wasn't *trying* to defend Retti, and I didn't think Retti was in any danger of being lynched. I was *trying* to explain why the logic was weak so that I could determine himiko's alignment and simply because obviously if i see someone say somethign that doesn't make sense i'm going to ask for clarification or explain why I don't think it makes sense.

I legit knew someone would call it scum buddying and ergo would not do that as scum, because it would be way too blatant and pointless and would appear scummy.

btw, i can see why you would think ideal is maf, but i don't see how you're really associating me with him, because it seems like hes your bigger scumread. i'm gonna out that your forbidden action is probably influencing your decision somewhere based on the direction you're trying to lead town toward. you may not be maf because i don't necessarily think you're trying to get your partner out of a lynch pool, but theres probably something influencing you

looking at the bigger picture is probably concentrating on the three that took up 75% of the posts every page. who is trying to stop them from arguing so much and who is letting them continue? what inferences can you make from that?

btw rettis probably maf, but im a pu$$y so im not gonna push on a person that pr claimed yet
id probably wager ultraaug is maf just because of his reaction/interaction towards the impoetic/himiko nonsense
