Welcome to Forum Mafia 19: Forbidden Actions!

Game is over. Ended on Day 5

Mafia wins! This game was ranked.

The mastermind's behind this game are Gerry, Mori and myself.

The game will be played like any other Forum Mafia game, with one twist! Every player will be given an action pregame. If the action they are given is performed, they will be Killed from the game, with their forbidden action being shown afterward. More information will be given under Rules.

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days. 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II. The Set Up:

  • There is no "possible roles list". I promise not to get too crazy.

  • Mafia will have Day chat. And will know each other's Forbidden Actions

  • You will get an Alignment PM. Town or Mafia and your alignment will not change.

YOU CANNOT SHARE THIS FORBIDDEN ACTION WITH ANYONE

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

As explained earlier, there will be forbidden actions. YOU CANNOT SHARE YOUR FORBIDDEN ACTION. If found to, you will be mod killed. If you commit the forbidden action, you will be killed from the game. You may speculate forbidden actions of others within the game. If asked whether your forbidden action is something, you cannot confirm or deny. You can also not soft or hint as to what your forbidden action is.

We also will be strict about ISP and replacements. If you think for any reason you MAY have to be replaced, do not sign up. We also reserve the right to deny anyone from joining, if we believe you will troll, isp, sub.

IV. Votes:

  • Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

  • I will not take any other type of vote. If I can't tell who you're voting, I won't take it.

MOD NOTE Mori will be giving out a token prize to a player from each alignment who the hosts determined played best.

and if I were mafia I wouldn't have INCENTIVE to lie. That would be easily confirmable and obviously mafia doing that would have to be suicidal.

acting inconsistent how? nicole had like 2 outbursts of dialogue and hadnt talked since

you can reread augs summarization of nicole, he was saying they didn't seem genuine and were only ATEing most of their posts so where is the inconsistency?

being inconsistent is you caring about lynching a possible PR (retti) but not caring enough to wait for nicole to come back and possibly claim a role

btw himiko i can't remember you saying "dont lynch retti cause blah", i think you just never really wanted to lynch retti period

usually things like this aren't game-related. Can you imagine Babylonia as scum acting completely different solely because of alignment? Maybe it could factor in but it definitely isn't enough on its own.


That was only a small part of my read, so idk why you chose to single that out.


it felt like there was a lot of discussion going on based on her playstyle being completely different so I pointed out natalie's playstyle changing that much was probably not based on her alignment

edit: if anything I don't see her playing this way as scum actually

Also, I think she was the only one who was really defending Nicole's behavior. And in my experience, mafia tend to do that when town is mislynching, because they want to seem more credible, like look I defended Nicole, therefore I can't be mafia.

Anyway, that's my onion.

I DIDN'T DEFEND NICOLE ONCE. I was in the 'she's leaning scum' wagon I just didn't voice it and didn't want it lynched immediately because she hadn't spoken much so I was focused on trying to vote players who would react immediately. I didn't ONCE say anything against the nicole wagon, other people did. And if I were mafia doing that, I obviously wouldn't want to be on the wagon and clearly didn't have to, either.

no they were clearly lying because it was obvs a joke and they said it was a joke later.

also I think the lynch on idealslot had increased resistance due to him being subbed out and damned defending him so hard so that doesn't necessarily mean much.

Is soda the second person to visit you retti?

also retti probably HAD to self-visit which explains why he would out d1. I think his claim is pretty much confirmed at this point since N1ed is a visiting role and apparently visited Retti so even if he's mafia he has that role. I think investigative PRs like that are usually town but...whatever. This can be sorted out later.

I don't get your logic, Denial, because if you really wanted to lynch someone for that reason, you should lynch me. I was the one that led the vote.

Also, you cannot deny nobody could read Nicole, and it was pretty obvious she wasn't pr, since she was willing to get mislynched, so she wasn't a bad lynch. It's unfortunate she turned out to be town, but w/e.

damned was mostly being townread and he said ideal was his n0 parity check so im assuming mafia hit it hoping he was actually telling the truth or at worst they killed somebody being townread

anyways, id probably advise voting kassidy here. they were the one of the ones that didn't want to lynch retti for claiming pr but had no problems with lynching nicole
