Eating lower organisms is correct because they do not have the capacity to consciously process their pain unlike humans, elephants and orcas. Pain is also expressed differently between different classes of animals (i.e. a reptile feels pain differently than a mammal), and plants also feel pain but we refuse to call it that so as to try and anthropomorphize and make animals closer to ourselves. Instead we simply call it reacting to stimulus which is what pain is anyway.
If you don't want to eat animals then don't. If you don't want to eat plants then don't. If you don't want to take drugs then don't. It's your body and you have domain over it, just don't force the way you live upon others.
let's say you go vegetarian, people judge you because you are not vegan, then you're expected to only buy cruelty free products which is HARD seriously and whos to say humans are not being abused when products are being made? some ppl have to wear diapers bc they don't get bathroom breaks. no wonder that guy pissed in cheerios
i feel like its really impossible to get by in life without messing up someone or something one way or another, so instead of cutting corners in every part of your life why don't you just try to be a good person in ways you want to be and that's all
i mean, there really aren't many foods that i'd eat that can give me the proper nutrition, therefore my human life is more important than an animal whos going to get killed anyway because my purchases don't really matter on a large scale

No, I firmly believe none of us humans are even close to understand the true meaning of everything and I am almost positive we're all wrong, but trying to do the better thing
All in all, Liberalism and Conservatism are just two opposite ways of thinking to the end, and, in my opinion it doesn't really matter what the end happens to be, because it will be bigger than all of us can ever hope to grasp
