Mechanical Keyboards

almost 10 years

I'm looking to buy one.

I know nothing about keyboards.

Educate me.

My wpm on a crappy keyboard is between 140-165, so I'm looking for something which will allow me to be a bit more nimble, and won't clog underneath my fingers.

Also, I want a numpad. Numpads are important.

if you were looking last week, they had a deathadder chroma (mouse) and blackwidow chroma for 160 at bestbuy

ive never personally tried the steelseries one, but the other two you would kinda compare it to (razer and logitech) both kinda feel the same to me so i don't believe you'll find an issue with the steelseries (i actually really enjoy their headsets/mice as well, so as a company they are a-ok)

that price is kind of normal for the chroma, and also from personal experience, i wouldnt advise going to some of the cheaper brands, because the price cut usually comes at a cost of comfort

all in all, if you are getting one of the chroma keyboards, you probably can't go wrong. you're probably only going to run into trouble when you're looking at the level below that (just keyboards that are backlit with some kinda color)

So you imagine that the Apex M800 is totally fine. Like I don't care if a keyboard ends up costing me £200. I want something that will be an absolute pleasure to use, so spending less isn't really a benefit in any way.

I dont know about their keyboards, but Razer mice tend to break down quickly.

I'm on my third Imperator. Entirely true, can confirm.

How much you willing to spend?

I would rather go with SteelSeries than Razer for keyboards, at least from what I saw on YouTube.

If I'm being honest, I'm a sucker for flashy lights, so I was going to get the SteelSeries Apex M800.

You should get one with that wpm lol. Got mine from Amazon--a steelseries $80. it just feels like a better keyboard. Can't really explain it
