I'll talk about the breed my dog is. (this isnt a picture of my dog as she's old, just showing a puppy)

Cockapoo: mix between a cocker spaniel and a poodle.

They grow to be about a medium sized dog. So one you can still carry, but aren't too small.

They don't shed at all.

They can be trained easily, it took only a bit to train to go outside and to do different tricks. and doesnt bark randomly, only when someone is at the door or w/e (at least mine doesnt, idk if others do)

They live a long time. My dog is gonna be 12 soonish, but still seems young as she runs around the yard and such still. They also jump REALLY high, i guess that's one thing you should look out for.

would recommend 10/10

IT'S ALSO important to note, i am sharing custody of this dog with arcbell because we're mature adults.. so it's also his new companion too

My dog is an Australian Shepard and she is very lovable but they are active dogs so you have to make sure to walk them a ton and stuff or they'll get pretty down.

I love corgis and shibes they are adorable.

We had a maltese for about a year as well, they're pretty crazy when they're young. But really loving. Tbh you can't go wrong with any specific breed, just so long as you give them all of the love and attention they deserve and if you do, they will give it right back! :)

Puppies are cute.

Australian Shepherd is my favorite breed.

Also pugs are kinda cute but they have major health issues due to the excessive inbreeding that was used to generate their feature set.

People have very strong feelings about pugs and i adore them i dont see how they can be disliked
