Trophying 2 Rounds in a row

Now that we have two decent admins who I think are willing and ready to embrace change (for the better) I believe it is an opportune time to bring forward a suggestion with regards to trophying.

I believe that the rule stopping people from trophying twice in a row is unnecessary and really does not have a strong reason behind it .

As a competitive person, I would much rather go up against everyone and anyone who wants to run. For example this round gerry cant trophy which means I am unable to compete against him which would make the round more enjoyable and competitive. I'd love to see which players are good enough to win more than 1 trophy in a row. It is also something new to strive for, for those who have already trophied and need something new to achieve.

I don't really see why people shouldnt be allowed to trophy twice in a row. I dont think it would cause the same people to win trophies every round, it would be quite a feat to be able to trophy twice in a row. Anyone who could achieve this would thoroughly deserve it. Removing this restriction will just allow for higher levels of competition in my mind.

it's not silly it's stupid, they won. as a reward for being winners they get to pick what they can potentially win on again. if you don't like what they picked then beat them so they can't pick again

anyone who thinks otherwise probably has never played a sport in their life.

well, like I said I think it was a bit silly but when I argued this before I was told that the winner picking setups that they'd favor for the next round would give them an unfair advantage

I think the only real argument I read that was somewhat decent being against this was that the winner could pick setups they're "better at" to gain an advantage in the following round

the olympics happen every 4 years because they'd be giving out too many medals to the same people if it was annual

So what if people win trophies in a row? If they are good enough then they deserve it.

Thats like saying if you win gold at the olympics you shouldnt be allowed to compete again.

Or in any sports league not letting the champions compete in the next years finals.

no cuz they will just comp setups that they made which nobody else knows wat optimal play on it is. then they'll use it to their advantage in games by saying "i made this setup just follow me". kinda like how extravagance farmed on LOBL


I disagree, I dont think creating new setups would give someone that much of an advantage to make them win every round.


u clearly weren't there when extravagance was winning all the time on LOBL bc ppl wud just sheep him for having created the setup


I have no idea who that is but jsyk you cant mod the same setup within 3 rounds. Also 6 setups a round are comped so I really dont see how you could force people to play a setup only you know how to play.
