Okay so based off this thread I believe it's unanimously agreed that in its current structure neither trans gender should be allowed to participate in gender segregated athletic competitions.

then where should they be allowed to participate? If taking hormones gives them a disadvantage, I think i'd lean letting girls compete with girls, as long as trans women weren't too much faster on average than natural-born women, which would be noticed eventually
it probably does depend on when they started taking the suppressants but I still don't know the specifics so
edit: OK so if forcing them to compete with men for the first few more years -- or not allowing them to participate/win in actual competitions until fully transitioned -- allows them to eventually be on a level playing field with women, that seems more reasonable.
