Come one, come all to the Stanley cup finals. This year we have the San Jose Sharks, who beat out the defensive Drew Doughty and the LA Kings, the all-star goalie Pekka Rinne and the Nashville Predators, and more recently beat out Vladimir Tarasenko and the ST. Goal tending is a big difference. Jones is a good goalie but Elliot is a lot better. Which is why they won game 1. You can't let that 2nd goal go in if you're Jones. Blues are also a lot more structured defensively. Sharks are gonna have to rely on their power play (which is amazing by the way). Still think blues will win in about 6.

no i picked STL before game 1

speaking of predictions though, I picked raptors in 7 twice and they won in 7, twice. im the best

I love how every sees the blues win 1 game at home so people vote them to win the series. Sharks imo outplayed them but just couldn't come out with a win

Like everybody who was hyped for the WSH/PIT series was like "SID V OVI SID V OVI OMG" but neither of them did much of anything for the entire series. Hockey is a team sport and that isn't appealing to many fans nowadays. They want to see starpower and the two stars on each team just slugging it out. I don't really blame them either; it can be more entertaining that way honestly (see: NBA). But that just isn't how the game is played

I think the Blues are the best team of the four remaining, but honestly it's anyone's game at this point. Nowadays, Hockey in the NHL seems more roulette-y than ever; like one bounce can win or lose a series. it's really off-putting to me honestly and I hate how the networks that broadcast the games now are trying to pump so many analytics into it, feeding us with tons of pointless garbage when luck (or "the single mistake") is clearly a big factor, but the games are still fun to watch don't get me wrong

SJS/STL/PIT/TBL. Any of these four can win the cup honestly, but wow what a weird final 4

I hope the sharks get swept. Also would rather not see Pittsburgh win, so I guess Blues or Lightning would be fine. It's been somewhat of a weird playoffs. Didn't think any of these teams left would be here (except pitt)

Blue's are a nasty team. Hope the Sharks put the body to them more on Tuesday and absolutely mutilate them.

Blues (never won a cup and Shattenkirk is bae), Sharks (never won a cup and Jumbo Joe), Lightning, Penguins (hate them so much)

Order I'd want to see the teams win. I'm a Bruins fan so mostly rooting for Boston guys (Shattenkirk) and old Bruins players (Jumbo Joe).

Blues vs Sharks gonna be a great series, plus it's a breath of fresh air. Lightning vs Penguins I'm not that excited for, don't really like either team.

RIP Ben Bishop and Tyler Johnson. (Not to mention Stamkos already.) don't think they can withstand this.

I can't believe that the Sharks have made it this far. This will be the year that they lift up Lord Stanley's Cup in victory

Looking at the 4 brackets that were posted and laughing. Anaheim v Philadelphia (both teams out first round), Chicago v Capitals for both me and Giga (RIP LMAO), and Anaheim v Pittsburgh. Congrats Pap for being the only person to have at least one team potentially correct for the finals. Shout out to Nashville for making sure Anaheim lost another game 7, I really do hope you guys win soon. Also, thanks St. Louis for making sure Chicago and Dallas are both gone, but now we're going to have to end you. In the east I hope Pittsburgh doesn't make it to the finals, mainly because I don't want the Sharks to have to play them, and also because I would gag having to decide who to root for if the tragic St. Louis v Pittsburgh. Lightning are cool, so at least if St. Louis won I could root for the Lightning to curb stomp them. But I have the utmost faith in my Sharks. This is their year.
