Come one, come all to the Stanley cup finals. This year we have the San Jose Sharks, who beat out the defensive Drew Doughty and the LA Kings, the all-star goalie Pekka Rinne and the Nashville Predators, and more recently beat out Vladimir Tarasenko and the ST. Louis Blues.The Pittsburgh Penguins managed to beat out the balanced Mats Zuccarello and the New York Rangers, the explosively offensive Alex Ovetchkin and the Washington Capitals, and the almighty Nikita Kucherov and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Game 1 is Monday at 8pm EST. Let's go Sharks.

Something interesting: Game 1 against LA Pavelski gets 2 goals. Game 5 Donskoi gets 2 goals. Against the Preds game 1 Couture scores twice. Game 4 Burns scores twice. Game 6 Tierney scores twice. In St. Louis, Burns scored twice again game 2, and Hertl scored twice game 3. Talk about depth. 13 Sharks players have scored a goal, and out of the 19 players on the club stats, only 2 of them haven't scored a point. Let's freaking go Sharks.

Jones with back-to-back shut outs. The Sharks defense is really stepping up their game and it's awesome to see. I bet if anyone were to watch the entire series so far, they'd be able to count the amount of mistakes Vlassic has made on only one hand, the dude almost never messes up. Sharks have given up 2 goals in 3 games, and have scored 8 goals including 1 empty net goal. I hope they can continue this out because they're playing absolutely rock solidly still continuously knocking on wood.

Sharks game 3 (did I really say game 2 and have to edit this smh) tonight, haven't lost on home ice knock on wood since the first round against the Kings, so really hoping they can take control of the series. Gonna be watching it with my girlfriend aka Antikrist aka best girlfriend ever, so we'll find out if she can deal with me when I'm in full crazy hockey mode.

Poor Vasilevskiy. I mean, letting in 4 goals you can blame him all you want but the penguins had 44 shots on goal which meant he gave up 4 goals while posting a 9.17 save percentage. The Lightning's defense need to really step up their game if they want to have any chance of coming back in this series. Honestly, the Lightning have only made it this far because of Bishop which isn't all that surprising that a good goaltender is what kept the Lightning in the playoffs but just imagine how badly the Penguins would have blown out the Lightning if Vasilevskiy wasn't as solid as he is.

If Sharks can split road victories, they'll be in a really good spot. They lost twice to Nashville in OT and they lost by one to Saint Louis, so it's not like they're getting severely out-played. They can easily come back and win the series if they find a way to penetrate the defense. They've only lost once at home in the Post-season to the Kings so I have a lot of faith in them.

They are 100% the better team right now i am biased but still. Also I enjoy sharing pictures so here is a pretty one.

If Sharks can split road victories, they'll be in a really good spot. They lost twice to Nashville in OT and they lost by one to Saint Louis, so it's not like they're getting severely out-played. They can easily come back and win the series if they find a way to penetrate the defense. They've only lost once at home in the Post-season to the Kings so I have a lot of faith in them.

STL is a dirty team; Blackhawks play them all the time. But, they are probably the better team out of them and Sharks. I really hope Sharks beat them though. I hate most Blues fans, they are garbage.

Sharks power play was really good tonight, the only issue is the Blue's PK was just so much better. The Sharks really need to figure out a way to deal with the offensive defense that the Blue's do, where they just go right for the puck at any chance they get.
