I can level with you on feeling hopeless about your life but all it takes is for you to be willing into put the effort to changing it to the way you want it to be. If the amount of effort you aren't putting in now isn't enough then try twice as hard. You'll never be in a situation in your life where there isn't a positive outcome to your struggle and effort. Try keeping your head up and not let other people control the way your life unfolds.

We've all been there, being realistic at times like these is not a good way to look at things. If you set out an absurd goal for yourself, preferably focusing on whatever is causing you this emotional turmoil, then you'll eventually make some headway onto achieving (or getting rid of) whatever your problem is.
