sorry dude i don't remember the game situation you speak of and my brain turns to mush when i read your paragraphs right now. you're probably right though and im probably wrong
i just i dont even remember what we were talking about and i honestly dont really care anymore your setup is not townsided and thats all that matters. i think i misunderstood you about the doc thing too

dawn start is the empirically superior setup but will likely scumside more than the original B2NS because it has stacked tables. average tables would have more town wins.
If you claim doctor, and you kill the doctor at night, you do not have a chance to win the cc.
Not that in that particular game you were going to anyway, but in your quote here: the point is that at the point you claimed doctor, you guaranteed that at most you had at most a 67% chance of winning. This happens if town lynches in doctors Day 1, mislynches, and lynches you the next day-AKA if you won the cc. They didn't lynch in doctors because he didn't claim but you knew you weren't winning the cc and killed him (and at that point that's fine because, yeah, you weren't winning the cc). The fact you were obvious scum and were forced into ccing doctor Day 1, which is not a good thing for mafia, is what made you likely to lose. You still lucked out in the you didn't get cc'd, aka we had a guaranteed blue mislynch Day 1, and town only got a 50/50 chance of winning due to a lucky report (guilty for a clear), you killing doc over cop (again probably the right call as dunno him but cop death is ideal), and you being forced to claim doctor Day 1.
Even with the report and you sacking your cc we still only had a 50% chance to win. This is perfectly reasonable post-mislynch. If we don't take your cc for already lost, it's 25%. If we have you sacking but no guilty, it's 33%.
tl;dr: You being obvious scum Day 1 and being forced to cc doctor as hooker when you can't win the cc got you a 50% chance of winning the game, not the setup being townsided. Mechanically that was a perfectly balanced game, you just got unlucky in that hooker was obvious on Day 1 and was forced into a suboptimal cc they had no chance of winning.
I think the biggest problem is people don't realize that you just play it exactly like b2ns. And claiming PR when you're blue is quite easily the best way to ensure that you don't win the game.
if i cared or wasnt lazy id EV the setup long before i posted anything about it but literally all of my arguemnts are halfassed and generally from me being mad
