Wednesday at 9 am I am going to the urologist and having a Cystoscopy. That is where they insert a camera in a flexible rod about the size of a number 2 pencil up my male parts into my bladder. I am having this done awake.

I had this done when I was younger, although I was put to sleep. So i'd imagine it'll be uncomfortable. Also, it hurt like crap whenever i done the toilet for a day after. Enjoy!
i will enjoy being put to sleep and waking up with more information about my health, as opposed to this poor lad who will only receive such information via conscious penetration :(
I have had a friend who has experienced this in the same way. He had a urinary tract infection or something where it would burn very badly when he peed. And he had to get a urethral swab. Where they basically stick a Q tip into the tip of the to get a sample of what's going on inside. He said that going in that far was painful, but it wasn't completely unbearable. Afterwards when he had to pee, he tells me it burned very badly.
Of course they had nummed the area around his junk so that he couldn't exactly feel it. They used a local anesthetic, the same that dentists use when they fill a cavity in your mouth. Good luck dude, it sounds like you really need this. Hope everything works out okay.
