Wednesday at 9 am I am going to the urologist and having a Cystoscopy. That is where they insert a camera in a flexible rod about the size of a number 2 pencil up my male parts into my bladder. I am having this done awake.

Yeah, when I had a catheter the numbing gel didn't work either. They're like "we'll put more on" but it's just a case of "fxck off it doesn't work". I can sympathise.
It was so painful. The numming gel did not help. I felt it go down my shaft into my body. It did not hurt till it got to my prostate. Once he got there he filled my bladder with water.
