This program is designed to help mafia players of all experience levels improve their knowledge and skill-set through the guidance of mentors. Mentors are chosen by moderators as players who have a deeper understanding of the game and are willing to share that with others. As a mentee, you will work with a mentor or mentors at your desired pace and times. There is a mentor lobby where the mentors will host competitive games for mentees.
Mentors/Mentees: How to sign up
If you are interested in joining the program as a mentor or mentee, please post in this thread. If you are below the required point threshold to post on the forums, please message one of the moderators - below
The basic program introduces players to mafia through Classic Mafia, a standard and simple mafia setup. Here, you will be introduced to the basic mechanics and in-game terminology. Any further questions you may have pertaining to the website, game, or tactics will also be answered.
The advanced program is based on mentor oversight in ranked and unranked games. The site administrator implemented a function that allows a mentor to see his or her mentee's role without directly participating in the game. They will be able to share their thoughts and give guidance to their mentees. Mentees may also opt to play competitive games with their mentors and debrief when it's over.
Mentors cannot under any circumstance treat you any differently than any other player in a ranked game.
Basic Level Mentoring
For players who would like to learn more about the basic mechanics, roles, setups, terminology, etc.
Intermediate Level Mentoring
For players who are interested in learning some of the more advanced roles and setups that are commonly used in Competitive play. Players opting for the Intermediate level should have a decent understanding of the basic elements.
Advanced Level Mentoring
For players who wish to hone in on specific elements of their play, or would just be interested in understanding different advance perspectives.

Well, let me try this. I know my pie is , but well... let's see if I can mentor someone! :)
Main Username: Rabbit24 What qualifies you to be a mentor? I had already a pie. But I was more focus on game and skills, or w/e and now my pie is really equal... well, I'm trying too make it equal. I play in this site for about 1 year and I already have more than 1500 games (in this main and in my alt). I already had like more 70 losses than victories (like 400/330) but now the difference is less than 20 games. Why do you want to be a mentor? I really want to help some new people to make this site full of good players. I really don't like people who enter in a game with a 0 pie and vote with the "heart". As I said one day, new players think this is "Big Brother". They forget this is EM. Which level of mentees would you like to teach? Basic/Intermediate What would you like to get out of the mentoring program & what would you like to give to it? Fun! Fun! Fun! And enjoy helping the others! :) What days and times are you available to mentor, on a regular basis? Monday to Sunday after 8pm to 11pm and 2am to 5am. Like that. Timezone: Well... I don't really know, but I'm in Portugal and it's 8:18 pm. Comparing to Washington DC, here is more 5 hours. WET, I guess.
Well, guys, if u need something, just pm me. Kisses, hugs and everything you want. :)
What qualifies you to be a mentor? I have been playing competitive for about 8 months and have come close to trophying a few times on real setups like Basic Logic and Cry n Oh
Why do you want to be a mentor? I love teaching and would be overjoyed to help a new crop of competitive players find their footing.
Which level of mentees would you like to teach? Beginner or Intermediate
What would you like to get out of the mentoring program & what would you like to give to it? I would like to be able to help newer players get to a good skill level and want to have the satisfaction of teaching a fancy pants noob how to play Basic Logic.
What days and times are you available to mentor, on a regular basis? I am available at most times, but more active in evenings, 3 to 9.
i know my pie is pretty lol but thats mainly coz i play baked too much lol. But i wouldnt mind being a mentor.
Main Username: FurioTigre What qualifies you to be a mentor? I'm pretty good as town and i'm always telling noavi n00bs how to play Why do you want to be a mentor? I've always liked helping people with problems, it's kinda what i do for a living atm Which level of mentees would you like to teach? Beginners i guess, but anyone who needs help really What would you like to get out of the mentoring program & what would you like to give to it? I'd like to help people who dont understand mechanics of the game and also help people on different setups than fp, i feel this is why people stick to FP as its what they know What days and times are you available to mentor, on a regular basis? I'm free most days, apart from tuesdays atm. Evening mentoring is prob easiest for me but i can do daytime too. Timezone: GMT
Oh I was applying for being mentor. XD But sure? Main Username: Infinitymidnight What qualifies you to be a mentor? I already teach the little noavis (really hard when they keep being killed tho) Why do you want to be a mentor? I like teaching and the noobs are being suppressed and scared away. Just want them to be able to play. Which level of mentees would you like to teach? Basic What would you like to get out of the mentoring program & what would you like to give to it? I really don't want anything out of it, maybe less noavi hate? I want to actually get new people that can actually play What days and times are you available to mentor, on a regular basis? please, however, double check messages sent from pingu as he does not understand the english language
Main Username: Sincerely What qualifies you to be a mentor? I've been on the site for a while, and I think I'm fairly fluent with mechanics and common concepts on Epicmafia. I also play competitive games a lot, although I've never run for a trophy. Oh, and my cats always help me play mafia, so I'm sure they'd help me mentor too. ;) Why do you want to be a mentor? Largely because more mentors are needed and I just recently applied to be a mentee, but I've thought about this in the past, too; I'm normally happy to explain things to people -- least as long as the people I'm talking to want to know what I'm telling them, haha. Which level of mentees would you like to teach? Beginner/intermediate. I WISH I were qualified to teach advanced. xD What would you like to get out of the mentoring program & what would you like to give to it? I think it might help with my mafia-related acuity and maybe even by ability to explain things in a comprehensible manner. all I can really think of that I expect to be able to give to the mentorship system is an extra mentor to take some of the burden off the nice people currently volunteering to do this. What days and times are you available to mentor, on a regular basis? I think I log on pretty much every day, but I'm probably less likely to do so on Wednesdays. In general, I might come online at almost any time between 7 AM and 11 PM [PST]. Timezone: Pacific Time.

What qualifies you to be a mentor?
I don't think anything really stands out. I have played the game extensively, I know a lot of the basics and I am very patient when it comes to teaching people provided they are willing to learn.
Why do you want to be a mentor?
To teach and grow with people that are willing and wanting to learn. Mentors learn just as much from their mentees as the mentees will learn from us.
I also enjoy helping the community get better as a whole and would take pride in seeing people grow and become better players.
Which level of mentees would you like to teach?
Beginner/Intermediate, I don't consider myself anywhere near advanced so I don't qualify myself to teach advanced.
What would you like to get out of the mentoring program & what would you like to give to it?
I've more or less answered this as I've gone along. I want to make the community better as a whole. I want to help someone grow and become a better player, I also want to grow as a person and player myself along with the mentees.
What days and times are you available to mentor, on a regular basis?
M/T/W
7pmEST - 9pm EST
Other hours are open but it would be on a week to week basis and I could work this out with mentees.
