The Mentor-Mentee Program: What it is

This program is designed to help mafia players of all experience levels improve their knowledge and skill-set through the guidance of mentors. Mentors are chosen by moderators as players who have a deeper understanding of the game and are willing to share that with others. As a mentee, you will work with a mentor or mentors at your desired pace and times. There is a mentor lobby where the mentors will host competitive games for mentees.

Mentors/Mentees: How to sign up

If you are interested in joining the program as a mentor or mentee, please post in this thread. If you are below the required point threshold to post on the forums, please message one of the moderators - below

How it works:

The basic program introduces players to mafia through Classic Mafia, a standard and simple mafia setup. Here, you will be introduced to the basic mechanics and in-game terminology. Any further questions you may have pertaining to the website, game, or tactics will also be answered.

The advanced program is based on mentor oversight in ranked and unranked games. The site administrator implemented a function that allows a mentor to see his or her mentee's role without directly participating in the game. They will be able to share their thoughts and give guidance to their mentees. Mentees may also opt to play competitive games with their mentors and debrief when it's over.

Mentors cannot under any circumstance treat you any differently than any other player in a ranked game.

Basic Level Mentoring

For players who would like to learn more about the basic mechanics, roles, setups, terminology, etc.

Intermediate Level Mentoring

For players who are interested in learning some of the more advanced roles and setups that are commonly used in Competitive play. Players opting for the Intermediate level should have a decent understanding of the basic elements.

Advanced Level Mentoring

For players who wish to hone in on specific elements of their play, or would just be interested in understanding different advance perspectives.

What qualifies you to be a mentor? Ive played over 1000 games and I believe I can teach anyone who wants how to play and tactics I personally like to use.
Why do you want to be a mentor? I want to be a mentor because I haven't experienced such a thing just yet and I want to share my knowledge about EM playing with others and get to know more and more people. Also teaching people the basic level would probably make the game much more enjoyble because there won't be much people to ruin the game with their gts or unlogical knowledge.
Which level of mentees would you like to teach? Basic level
What would you like to get out of the mentoring program & what would you like to give to it? I would like to get to know more people and teach them better ways to play EM.
What days and times are you available to mentor, on a regular basis? Mostly Friday and Satuarday or most of the week 12-3 pm EST.
