Racism isn't a mindset, that's bigotry. While it's true that anyone can be a bigot, racism is an institution that's governed and maintained. If it becomes too obvious it's just rebranded until it isn't, however no matter what you want to argue racism will never be as impactful to non-minorities because it's not designed to be.

I agree more often than not that it's a waste of time to try and change someone's PoV who's an adult - however making attempts to change cultures that ingrain racism into youth should be a priority.

You can try to, however more times than not you'll fail - perfect example is any discussion that ever had two sides anywhere about a persons belief system (religious, political, or social).

People are going to have their own beliefs, if someone has believed in someone fro 25 years you spitting some points to them while they also try to prove that your belief is wrong will be a waste of time.


That Kim Davis b*tch who didn't want to give those two gay guys a marriage license because she believed it's morally wrong won't have her mind changed, she can however have her position changed.
