I could literally pull out mounds of scripture right now to make this all so easy on the debate between Paranoid and Beloved, but I won't.

There's interesting psychology in the value of virginity, actually. Interesting that Jesus would take divinity in the purity of his mother, I mean. And here we all are slandering each other's mothers, almost by instinct, as if to bring those others down to our level.
trying to insist on the introduction of scientific theory into a philosophical discussion is a sure way to kill a conversation.
Making arguments and backing them up with pure BS is also a way to kill a discussion and making it utterly pointless.
if you ask me, the purpose of these sorts of discussions and casual philosophizing in general isn't to find absolute truths, it's to put on display our own ways of thinking.
Well, maybe I was at fault for expecting too much of people on here, that they actually had some basis to back up their theories.

I mean I don't know how you can just hand it all over to death.

So how am I wrong?
Well if you're accepting inherent wickedness and making no amends, then there's something foul about you.
And I don't know that God is wrong. I love living. Don't you?

I don't think the whole Garden of Eden thing was anything more than a picture of one's innocence dying, either, to be honest. Again, a piece of art. Maybe we just have to find ourselves in everything or something, I dunno. (Which we do, regardless of religion.)
