i don't think bias is an issue with shacky, which is why i brought up jasprar and connor. I don't even think the community voting thing needs to be put in place since i don't see a problem with the people he's moded. But you're acting like having a community vote will be the end of epicmafia as we know it. And you're overreacting

yeah, that whole connor jasprar thing proves that there's mod bias so idk how community bias will be somehow worse than admin bias lol.
The only way the community voting won't work is if the mod team isn't welcoming to whoever gets voted by the community and causes drama and a rift within the team towards the new member.
When you have BabaCakes making unironical mod campaigns, whilst trying to make them look ironic, in main forums, then it's probably time to make some kind of deal about it.
the community picking mods really cannot be as catastrophic as bear is making it out to be, because, the community as a whole isn't compromised of stupid people. At least for the most part

didn't some admin disqualify connor from modding before because he'd be 'annoying to work with' or something? connor is clearly a good candidate for moderatorship, that bias stripped away
