Can we please bring the comp lobby back? im sick of my comp games getting 4 people joined but then going to next page cause of fancy pants and that other jailer setup push it all the way down in 3 minutes

Default i.e. I/others don't have to click it every time. It'd also improve the problem of games getting pushed to the second page

You can't attract people to comp because you actually have to put effort into comp. No one is going to put effort into ranked games if the core ranked game lets you self vote or nl and still win a decent amount of your games.

FP doesn't encourage scumhunting, rational thinking, or communication. It's played as vote simulator which is why you get a huge number of people crying whenever someone doesn't want to follow the clear. CM and FP have destroyed the role of villager which is evidenced by people putting forth zero effort when they role blue and either self voting or nl'ing until the game ends.

I have a problem with this setup crowding out and establishing what this site considers "the game of mafia". You claim comp is thriving despite the fact that on average 1/12 games that are played in main lobby are comp games; that's not thriving in any metric that could be applied to the word. I'm not actually for the splitting of the lobby as it currently exists.

Well no, just by a click of a button you can see all the comp games and by another click you can see all the redheart games

Kind of like how the current filter for games that are over, in progress, and waiting to fill works

I misinterpreted. I thought you meant at the click of a button you'd see all of the comp games and otherwise you wouldn't. my bad

Why don't you and Rutab take a look at the lobby and see that the only comp game going on hasn't filled and is about to pushed off the front page. You have to go back 31 pages to find a page with more than 1/2 comp games on it, so the notion that a lobby that at the lowest point had 2 games going and 1 waiting to fill is better than being oppressed by FP farmers.

I probably wouldn't have joined comp if it was in it's own lobby. I'm so sorry that your precious community has been diluted by fancy pants players though. Oh the injustice of having to remake now and then.

Its like you aren't even reading this page. If people like to play a setup, why not let them. Why do people have to be restricted because of what a few people want(you). There is so many more fancy pants people then comp people. So you are going to have to deal with it

Destruction? It's not remotely destroyed, it's actually thriving. We're all playing mafia and everything's going fine, and on top of that new users are much more encouraged to join. It's not "destroyed" by any means. Unless you lack the patience to wait for a game to fill, that is.

Also I might add that you seem to forget that moderators cater to more than the just the forum posters or regular comp players, as most of you do. There's another (larger) portion of the site userbase that plays FP and we cater to those, too. The current state is absolutely fine and the only way to improve on it is to add this filter.

No its not, you just click the option to only see golden heart games. They already have a filter for open/closed games. It wouldn't change anything other then help finding a golden heart game. People cant be assed to click page 2 to see an open game
