a nice office chair is a worthwhile investment if you find yourself liking to sit at a table with your computer. If you're a laptop guy, perhaps getting a "lap desk" and a beanbag chair would be cool.
Folding table is super utilitarian if you're not crazy about how stuff looks plus it'll be much easier to move around within or to another place.
a nice couch (maybe a loveseat to encourage scootilypooping) with a good coffee table is highly recommended.
Ultimately, what kind of furniture you need really depends on what the purpose of the apartment is. When I had my apartment, I liked to host friends / parties so I had things to make my apartment conducive to that. If I had an empty apartment and knew I was the only person who would ever see it, I'd organize it differently.
get a couch, i got a leather couch and regret it, because summer sucks its sticky. but get like a small couch, also get one of those lamp stands with like 5 places that hold bulbs (target has these) and i would just go to ikea or something a browse
