i read the game actually so that was an unfair comment, however i don't see how shooting without claims on d1 is in any way better than the generally accepted strategy which usually narrows down choices/claims. maybe not an actual violation, but still not good strategy
Satan the town PRs ESPECIALLY blacksmith are super powerful roles. The blacksmith is the best protective role in the game. I don't want real BS to claim. mafia will claim bs, bs will claim bs. a bs claim is like 3/4 mafia or close to it. CLAIMS DO NOTHING. it's about scumhunting. in the game in question i probably shot too soon and should have taken my time, but its not trolling, its not suboptimal to shoot d1 and to have mods forcing that down my throat with a violation give me a break. absolute joke sorry
I'll give an abridged version since I was gonna eat now. She shot after only 2 minutes and didn't give any effort into making sure she didn't shoot a pr. The guy she shot said 5 lines and 2 of them were saying kayla was bad at mafia. i don't think she would have been upset if he rolled blue and she shot him. So I constituted that as a hipfire and gave trolling. I didn't note it because i think she should know better, even if using shooting d1 as a real strategy, that you can't hipfire. She told me mafia will just claim pr if you ask, well then get the other pr's to claim and shoot outside. Then you can lynch cc's they next day.
Thanks Jack, I think this is fair reasoning. I don't think that she necessarily has to play by that strategy though. Using an alternative strategy =/= trolling. In kaylag's defense, she may have had real reads by that point thus not really making it a hipfire. Having PRs claim though is definitely safer and won't lead to throwingly bad mistakes.
You could argue it was more of a grudge shot than anything, especially considering kaylag was more concerned with speeding through the game afterwards than actually playing. I just think a vio is a little stiff here, unless she has been vio'd for similar behavior.

goodbar i wasn't randomly clicking buttons. i have 57% town win on this account which is like the worst i've ever had on any account. this is like so freaking ridiculous c'mon now,
kaylag out of all the mods that have "fanboys and fangirls" you probably picked the 2 who have the least
ok thats besides the point then, the fact that 2 mods could have such poor judgment makes me wonder why they are mods. its the principle of the thing rutab. im already annoyed people are playing the setup wrong. but im a competent town player and to have mods forcing bad meta....how much of a fuss do i have to make to make this go away. also i realize i've been kind of a jerk, but it doesn't make my point any less valid
Sheriff asks for target to claim, the target claims PR, and then someone else CCs them
Scenario B:
Sheriff shoots target with no claim, the target is a PR.
which scenario is the most optimal scenario to catch mafia?

kaylag99 18h 53m I won't stop doing this. EVER. I will continue to play the exact same way without remorse. If this is a violation PLEASE ip ban me now.
