It'd have to be tested, you never know with lucid.
I care a hundred times more about why the setup gets banned than if it gets banned. If killer can be masoned I'd say that it's a pretty valid reason to
isn't paranoid pandemonium basically played like reverse mafia?
it's probably fun and could be an interesting setup if people actually played it properly, but the way the site is people will just ISP and let the night roulette do its work.
That was a side note for if you decided to go through with the "PP will be banned unless someone can come up with good arguments" thing, not anything else.
"Has no 3rd parties unless the third party wins with either town/maf exclusively. Ex. Traitor wins with Mafia, Amnesiac wins with either town or mafia in Suppa Magical Grey Scales. This is because certain 3rd parties can be put into autoloss after a N1 kill, as well as certain roles being able to choose who they joint with (Fool/Lyncher townsiding, for example) which enables people to pick who wins."
I don't know who removed the setups or for what reasons, but after reading this thread - https://epicmafia.com/topic/60963 it appears that killer and fool are roles we generally should not be allowing in comp setups, so Paranoid Pandemonium will probably be removed, unless someone can think of a good argument for why it should remain comped.
"There are the *flexible guidelines* of *attributes commonly seen* in competitively viable setups, and it *certainly isn’t law*"
Please at least read the thread. Those weren't mod rules it's just bronto putting out there what people commonly used for comp setups. Have no idea why that thread was even made on the first place but just like you can have 11 player setups, killer and fool are not banned.
If you're going to ban PP, at least don't do it by citing a thread like that. And more importantly, make actual rules instead of just flipping a coin to ban or not every time a third party is comped or you'll just end up being inconsistent. And btw the burden is on the mods for coming up with reasons to ban not the other way around
