And what you do for fun there, because it's interesting.
I'm from Colorado and stereo-typically I enjoy skiing and legal marijuana. It's cold as hell half of the year but it's gorgeous outside when it is not. There was 2 feet of snow on the ground the day I got my driver's license and I'm pretty baller at drifting my car all over the place on the ice. I can also drive over a canyon in a blizzard way faster than you can.
vancouver, bc. tons of rain, tons of weed, sushi place in every corner. amazing public transit makes up for high gas prices. I think I take this city for granted a lot. downtown is really really urban and there's so much to do there. then half an hour away you have cypress/seymour mountains which are great for hiking, also whistler if you wanna go a little further to ski/snowboard. we're on the coast so there are some pretty nice beaches too, then farther inland there are really really awesome camping spots.

well, maryland does have a bloodthisty human-goat hybrid that eats people.
Not really. My Mom was at an American school for a few years, where she became fluent in English. She then went to Ohio State for college, where she lost her accent too. She then brought us up speaking Arabic/English while we learned German at school.
Is it true that St. Louis has a decent soccer following?
Hmm. I would say yes. We have a large soccer base for the kids and I have seen it really boom since Chelsea and United have been coming. I hate it though. They need to stop coming and ruining our baseball stadium. ;( Heh. But yeah, we do.
St. Louis, home of baseball. A city that has its mood determined by the score of the Cardinals' game. Horrible pizza, but a free zoo/science center/Muny/Forest Park. And the most humid Augusts known to man. But hey, our Octobers make up for it. We experience all four seasons throughout the year, as the cold fronts and warm fronts fight for us :D Missouri is all soybeans, cornfields, and rednecks except for KC/St. Louis.
We have a weird obsession with wawa (or sheetz if you're closer to the boonies) and we get Wawa hoagies cuz they are bae! If you live closer to Philadelphia, you can get the best cheeses steaks or Wooder ice from the local Italian store. Weed isn't legal here, but in Philly you can carry under an ounce of weed without it being a crime!
Enjoy our lovely farms while you're here. Start making your way to New Hope, PA which has the nicest gay community ever! I typically work or go to school for fun, even though our state has some of the best tourist attractions. Go to Reading Terminal, King of Prussia Mall, The Liberty Bell, or even see Harrisburg!
We usually travel down the shore (aka Wildwood) during the summer and complain about the blistering cold in January.
Washington, although kind of an Oregonian so I can speak for both of them really.
Not many people know about the PNW, so i'll clarify a bit. The Pacific Northwest or PNW for short is typically comprised of Washington, Oregon, and Vancouver B.C. B.C is Canadian, but most of the things about it typically apply to the PNW in general.
The biggest thing in the Cascade mountains, which is split throughout the PNW. From this, the west side of the Cascades is most discussed so i'll talk about it primarily unless someone wants to know about the east side.
The west side is what everyone knows about: Portland, Seattle, Victoria, and others. It is also the west side that is relatively true to what you may or may not see on T.V. It rains quite a bit, but it's just light yet consistent rain. Places like Florida get rain downpours, but the PNW is more of a consistent rainfall i'd say. The west side is like this because it's next to the pacific ocean obviously. Overall i'd say that since the west side of the PNW makes up most of the population for the area, they usually have the biggest say in things such as politics. Due to this, it's really no surprise that Washington and Oregon are liberal states most of the time. There's usually no snow and it's generally an accepting place for the LGBT communnity. There's legal gay marriage and legal weed too, so i'd say Washington as a state is pretty cool.
