if the majority wants to play a certain setup, it's not the minority's jurisdiction to stop them, you are the lesser. and by blacklisting the setup, you are directly stating "You are not allowed to play that." despite whatever you just said.
also you are completely over exaggerating that other players can't play any other setups. look at the lobby right now and tell me you only see fancy pants
How long does the average member of the "majority" stay on em again?
obviously long enough to make an effect on your setup filling
Just saying the average fp player is: join EM, try first setup thinking it's classic, enjoys a few times, realizes it's boring, doesn't try other setups, either goes to sandbox or quits. All within maybe a months (?) length. The few who stick to it are the ones talking in the forum supporting the setup.

this is almost like banning fast food because you want the population to be healthier

its a filter system. if people enjoy fancy pants they will play it, if they don't, they will play other setups or play in competitive. blacklisting it will do more harm than good.

FP is the fast food gametype of em its fast, easy and not really beneficial to your well being. Its a laid back where you can half play and play with friends(while talking to them on Skype, shh)
Think this is a more balanced version of FP, since the GS setup in FP is probably the most town-sided out of the lot + the above setup linked allows scum to try and force a MyLo lynch if they want to play ballsy by claiming GS to have gunned an alive player.

I totally agree SyphruM, we might be the minority and people who play Fancy Pants, as a majority, should at least think about playing another setup. Like I have previously stated, it might be my hatred for this setup, but there is no way other players can play a different setup as long as the "majority" ( and to be honest that majority changes every month) is not joining other setup BUT fancy pants. No one said you are not allowed to play that, that's why I think it should be only blacklisted one day a week or something or at least add an upper limit to that setup. Even worse, like thebrontosaurus stated yesterday, it starts becoming a town point farm which should just be an extra reason that should lead to its blacklist. But I rather think adding a limit after you can no longer join would be the best idea. This way, new players can learn the mechanics and the others can fill their own setups.
It's ironic that there are a few thousand setups on EM and there is one that is played more than ALL the others.
