its about as canon as it's going to get dude. they're not gonna show homosexual intimacy on nickelodeon tv because there would be homophobic complaints. so they took a step in the direction without going too far
im going to watch it in a little bit. i heard about the ending, but i'm just going to believe they're just friends/maybe a platonic love because i'm a stickler when it comes to sticking to the source material & not going off of implications. (:
