kuvira reminded me a lot of alexander the great, not sure if thats who she was based off of or not
great ending. im glad i didnt go here before i saw it
maybe its believable because he was being irrational and wanted to martyr even if it was really shallow
i just dont see it happening, especially after the talk mako and korra had. that made it seem like there was something still there. also, if they didnt make them hold hands and look at each other in the end, korrasami would seem even less likely
i dont really care that much, though. i just hope they expand the universe with some comics like they did with the original avatar. i didnt read those, but i like korra a lot better and i would definitely pick up some korra comics.
varrick's wedding was awesome, also.
edit: maybe hiroshi wanted to die, mayhaps. it's the ultimate retribution
theres nothing wrong with being happy that a ship happened
caring a lot about shipping is really lame imho
btw sims, korrasami ending was parallel to the kataang ending (without the obvious kissing)
it wasnt essential. they could just back up and try again
i mean i agree it wasnt that emotional a scene because his character development wasnt really there, but it was essential
it's like the kuvira / korra talk that kinda felt out of place / too easy
it was necessary for them to open the hole. i guess the extra second he stayed in it gave him enough time.
also, it was probably a spur of the moment decision so even if it was illogical it was still really great
disagree
hiroshi bad guy > make hiroshi have feelings for like 2 scenes > bring back for finale > MARTYR for cool points
there was nothing to suggest beforehand that he had any intention of martyring before the scene. realistically he would have wanted to be able to spend more time with asami but he was like "nm lol ill just die here when its not actually necessary"
bolin's always been amazing.
without trying to spoil it, hiroshi's thing practically brought me to tears.
they made varrick and wu two of the most likable characters in lok
atla was better in general
i agree that it's a step in the right direction and i think it's pretty great, but i can't in good faith say that they're actually a couple or anything.
im about 18 minutes in and so far this is absolutely amazing though.
atla was a better ending because it wasnt fan service though so whatever
